Desean Jackson upset with Michael Vick for being singled out (1 Viewer)

Seems as if Desean has had a problem with all 3 of their qbs Mcnabb,Kolb, and Vick. Maybe the problem is just him. He had an endzone drop against the Giants last week and when the Eagles were down by 2tds against the bears he dropped one that wouldve won the eagles that game. He also had another drop during the Bears game. Who knows maybe he's having flash backs from the Atlanta game. and afraid to take hits. Celek made the other TD ending the score Bears 31 Eagles 25. If Desean Makes that catch we wouldnt be having this conversation right now.

Diva WR. nothing to see here. We'll all be licking his balls when he goes 6-133-2 against Houston on TNF
Thats the problem with Desean we wont ever win a superbowl with him as our number 1 reciever. He's a limited reciever. He drops passes in the endzone because hes afraid of getting hit. he cant take a hit and what good is it having a number 1 reciever that cant make plays in the redzone due to his size? I could see if he had a solid build like a Steve Smith or Deon Branch, but hes not. He makes big plays only against weak defenses. The good defenses shut him down. To be brief hes only good for 1 big play a game except if we play a good defense. We cant throw to him across the middle because he cant take a hit and is scared of getting injured. We need to let this guy walk after the season. It seems he has had a problem with all 3 of our qbs Mcnabb,Kolb, and now Vick. Get this cancer off the team. Look at all the teams that have rings. They had physical, complete recievers that they could use often in the redzone. You cant use Desean in the Redzone often because he not that physical and hes skinny and small.

Your response to the report makes no sense. Now realize I'm not a huge fan of Jackson's either, he's overly cocky for a player with really only one skill.

The report seems to state that he was upset with being singled out by Reid, why wouldn't he be?

Sure he could have taken the high road and spat out a bunch of team first cliches but you're making a bigger deal of this than it is, especially against Jackson.

And where does he state he had a problem with Vick, he didn't even speak to reporters. Maybe he was upset he played a bad game and the Reid press conference made it worse, you don't even know what happened.

This makes more sense:

Philly fans should worry more about Jay freaking Cutler dropping 4 TDs on their defense and Matt Forte and his 8.4 YPC.

Desean Jackson is the least of their worries. There's at least 5 very good receivers on that team.

Of course he has limited abilities because of his size, but that doesn't mean he can't be a number 1. I don't view him as a "redzone threat" however. Whenever the eagles have the ball inside the 7 yard line, I'm confident we'll see a Vick Run or a touchdown pass to McCoy, Celek, Maclin, or event Cooper before Desean. he's just not a big red zone target, and I can accept that. I honestly don't expect Steve Smith from Carolina to get those plays either, but he's still a #1. "Letting him walk" would definitely be a mistake, although I don't expect to see him in the redzone much after Cooper developers a little more. Plus, the last thing I'd want to see is him in a Cowboys uniform.

likely done more to fire him up for the quick coming up and now huge game for them Thursday night more than anything else.

One of the things Reid is good at is motivating. If he singles anyone out, its for a good reason. I expect DJAx to go off on Thursday.

 Has me concerned... Big let down game after the last few weeks. The defense had too many deep passes on them. Have to fix that shiznit.

Kinda late to fix that now. Most of the offseason people #####ed about the lack of attention to the CB spot. Which was a big hole. It still is, even more so now since Hobbs is gone ( as much as i thought he is a #3 at best and Patterson should have been above him in the pecking order ). Now you got a small mid round rookie CB trying to play meaninful snaps in week 11 and on and an undersized slow nickel in Hanson basically as your #1 since Samuel is out. Whom hasn't been good since getting busted for PEDS. I don't know what is up with DJax but he hasn't been looking good. Didn't he Pinkston a catch last night ( alligator armed it )...and during the Giants game I thought he gave up on a ball down the sideline ( not to mentioned the dropped TDs ) Guessing he is just pissed overall at his play.

BEARS > EAGLES...

down with the Dog Killer :lmao:

glad that I don't see all those dumb Vick threads today

You lost me on how his drop would have won the game when 2 TDs down. To speculate that the rest of the game is going to go the same way it did is quite a leap as Chicago is going to be playing very differently on O and D depending on how much they are up.

Why would the Cowboys want D-Jax? Jerry Jones is an idiot, but not that incompetent.

Are you kidding? DJax is a weapon. Speed kills in this league. Anyone would be knocking down their door to have this guy. He's a young version of Steve Smith. I guarantee you 31 other teams will gladly inquire about his services.

Cowboys don't need a speed receiver; they've already got their future invested in Dez. What they need is a QB capable of being a team leader. Actually, that's the one attribute they need overall most...team leadership. D-Jax certainly isn't going to provide any help there.
