They're very good when the WRs can get off clean and there's no heavy pass rush. Any show of physicality by their opponents and they crumble...

Crosby is such a front runner as a kicker. If they are up by 20 he can boom 60 yarders all day. But he's mentally weak when it comes to tight games. Always have been.

I don't think we've seen a team fall apart this much, this fast since the 2002 Super Bowl Raiders went 4-12 in 2003

Packers player says “refs are out to get us”

Posted by Mike Florio on October 10, 2012, 8:35 AM EDT

Buried at the very bottom of an article regarding the problem with yellow flags that’s plaguing a team whose fans wear large yellow foam hats is a contention that borders on the outlandish.

“It’s definitely on us as players,” an unnamed Packer told Lori Nickel of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “But I think the refs are out to get us this year.”

Making that over-the-top remark even more over the top is the fact that there have been two completely different sets of refs this year. And the real refs, who have been back for two weeks after the lockout ended, have no reason to be “out to get” the Packers, for two major reasons.

First, it was a game-deciding call against the Packers that paved the way for the real refs to get paid. Second, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was one of the few voices loudly complaining about the replacement officials, which if anything would make the real officials less inclined to stick it to the Packers.

So those nine penalties for 89 yards against the Colts, including a roughing-the-passer call on linebacker Nick Perry that was despite objections a great call, surely were deserved. As were the seven penalties for 43 yards against the Saints.

Bottom line? We’ll never cease to be amazed by the extent to which some folks will warp reality in the hopes of blaming someone else for things that are their own fault. The Packers, so far, are a shadow of the team they were last year. And they’re not going to get any better if players actually believe their struggles trace not to the men in green and gold but to the men in black and white.

Players better get used to it. WikiLeaks posted the script for the 2012/2013 NFL season and the Packers were not part of the playoffs. ;)

Right. They are going to win the Super Bowl this season. Just like two years ago, they'll string together several wins to get in the playoffs and crush teams left and right with the momentum. Rodgers isn't even warmed up yet. They've got a lot of rookies playing on defense, they have not had their second best player in Jennings for much of the season. They really should be 3-2 right now and everyone knows it. But that's fine, let people get excited about a paper champ like the Patriots or the Steelers. The Packers are the antithesis of those teams, much more akin to the Giants. The Packers will be content to slide in and take down their 14th Championship from under the radar.

Perhaps not.

The Packers need a coach who can control his players, and a QB who isn't a Me-First Gloryboy
:discountdoublecheck:
A valid point was raised in the "Aaron Rodgers Photobombing" thread that he constantly puts himself and his ego above the coach and the team. Yet the mods locked it because it made their darling look bad. He gets exposed more and more every week.

Ndamukong Suh says Packers fail 'Football 101 for Dummies'Chris Strauss, USA TODAY Sports12:46a.m. EST January 13, 2013Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, whose team just finished a 4-12 season, felt the need to tutor his division rivals on football basics after his Green Bay Packers counterpart B.J. Raji was penalized for encroachment on a 4th and 1 late in the fourth quarter of the Packers' 45-31 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.The penalty was costly, giving the 49ers a first down in the red zone. They'd score a touchdown three plays later to go up 21 points and seal the game for good.Via @ndamukong_suh:"Football 101 for Dummies. D-Line DO NOT jump on 4th & 1 Yard to go!!!!"While Suh is correct is his assessment, Packers fans didn't take kindly to the reminder, bringing up reminders of his numerous fines for dirty play, his team's lack of playoff prowess and more on Twitter. It's somewhat surprising that he would comment on fellow 26-year-old Raji, who, in addition to mastering the discount double check, has managed to be one of the other top defensive tackles in the NFC over the past few years.Since Raji is probably too busy shaking off the loss to respond, we put together some NFL Statistics 101 for Dummies that Suh might want to check out.Pro Bowl appearances:Suh -1Raji - 1

So the Packers best comeback here is to talk about the Lions?
