I know his version of how things went down this past offseason is chalk full of lies. I'll give you one example that you can hear for yourself. There was a time earlier in Favre's career when Favre and Paul Hornung played golf and drank all day together. Later that night when a guest of Hornung's on a radio show, when Hornung asked about Favre ever relaxing and having a drink, Favre blatantly lied and said he hadn't had a drop to drink in years. You can find that in the ESPN SportsCentury episode on Brett Favre. That's just one, not a biggie no doubt, but an example nonetheless. The context of course being that this took place after Favre had gone to rehab for his addiction to painkillers and had moved past the days of drinking heavily and nearly seeing his wife leave him because of his transgretions. You want to tell us all the things he has lied about. No, I know he is a liar. And the misfortune is that so many people hold him up like a god when in reality he's not that great a guy.The misfortune is you taking anything you can find to try and bash Favre. Somehow trying to call Favre a liar now is downright pathetic.

Favre lovers have blinders on and think all fault lies with the Packers. They do not want to even think for a minute that Favre mishandle the situation also. Favre is not the aw shucks hillbilly that he pretends to be. He has become another primma donna athlete who thinks he did no wrong.

Favre went into New York believing himself to be the savior of the team and above his teammates. That stuff flew in Green Bay because he built his career there and was loved by fans, media, and his team (until he pulled the retirement drama). He was doomed to fail in NY if he didn't change that attitude, and it's obvious that he didn't. Brett needs to retire now or at the very least, leave New York.
