They punted around the 40 yard line of Pittsburgh. If they didn't have that 14 yards, they most likely wouldn't have kicked a field goal. That challenge was worth 3 points for Pittsburgh.

Nope, things would have been different. Saved the Steelers, nothing. Can't assume anything. Making a field goal on that field is never easy and so on.
 
The only call I have a real problem with is the non-call on Heap. But if you're going to let them play, fine. But then to turn around and flag Wilson for his coverage on Wallace -- then we have an inconsistency and a problem.

Ravens need to stay the course offensively here

 
could care less about both teams but its clear if these last 2 drives are any indication of the reffing . Pitt will easily win this game

Well the Steelers said they weren't going to change their style and continue to lead with the helmet. This one may cost them a different way than money though, losing Taylor would hurt their chances against someone like a Tom Brady.

 
Surprised that wasn't a 15-yarder on Baltimore. After all, a Steeler did sustain a helmet-to-helmet hit.

What about the 15yd PF on Ward? I Didn't think that was warranted. Oh, that doesn't fit the argument that the steelers get all the calls.
 
How about that, the Steelers' dirty hits finally come back to haunt them. The guy that lowered his head should get suspended for the next game if they win too. Too bad the league didn't have the guts to actually suspend one of their players earlier in the season.

So far - missed the Raven tackled on the kick off - BLOWN CALLHeap PI - BLOWN CALLWard - 15 yarder - BLOWN CALLRavens PI on Wallace - looked like he grabbed him first :coffee:Cleaning the PILE - should have been called but no whistle :PSeriously only one call so far I will agree with ;)

The penalty on ward was bs, but the steelers converted. If the db doesn't arm bar Wallace then he's gone for 6. Bthe worst no call was the no call on kemo hitting the pile.

 
The reffing will work itself out over the course of the entire game. The important thing is for Balitmore to sustain this drive and get some points.

Complaining about the reffing all game while they get their butts kicked won't do you any good.

There's a holding penalty on Pittsburgh, automatic first down.

Ok, so it's even. Quit the whinning. You guys are annoying. Watch and enjoy a great football game. You got your mind made up that the refs want the Steelers to win and nothing will change it.

Tough to see the Ike Taylor thing if you're a ref but obviously if it was cuaght it would have been called. Great to see a rivalry like this and both sides are good teams.

Flacco is off target and seems to be rushed on his throws. It won't shock anyone if the story of this game is the difference at QB.
