Shanahan said that Williams could potentially practice this week, but he's realistically at least another week away.

Linebackers Nate Webster and D.J. Williams might both practice some this week, Shanahan said.

Webster took part in some scout-team work last week and is likely further along.

Williams is expected to be reinserted into the lineup once he is healthy. Spencer Larsen has played at middle linebacker in the two games Webster has missed.

Shanahan said "anything is possible" when asked Monday if there was a scenario in which Larsen would stay in the lineup in the middle, even when Webster was ready to play.
