Whether you're a Cruz supporter or a Rubio guy, it's easier to coalesce behind Trump because you know the guy won it on the up and up.

I'm a Bernie supporter, but there's a less than zero percent chance I vote for Hillary after this debacle came to light.

Chuck Todd is slowly moving towards Michael Moore's POV that Trump is going to win or has a much better chance than even he though a few months ago. He actually said Trump  has a coherent message that is connecting for a lot of voters, Ive not heard many political types in the media like him saying such things. 

 
I try not to watch the cluster#### - are the Democrats really doing their best to initiate a cold war or am I taking stuff in here out of context?

Trump is winning in November. Of that, I'm certain. These leaks play on the politician hate already at an all time high this country.

What's insane is that 4 years ago Romney/the GOP were saying that Putin was incredibly dangerous and an enemy and Obama/Hillary/DNC were resetting and making fun of Romney.

Fast forward 4 years and the GOP is bff with Putin and Hillary/the DNC are saying Putin is bad news and Trump is dangerous because he's close to Putin. Weird.

And it's sort of odd that Trump has pretty much gotten away with bashing Hillary for "abandoning our allies" all while talking about how he would abandon our allies and his top foreign policy advisor came straight out and said that abandoning Estonia and letting Putin invade them would be something they would do. Totally insane.

 
America has been influencing elections and other countries leaders for years.  Why do we act surprised when they attempt to do the same here?

I'm not even listening to the Russia angle right now, the content is very damning. Bernie Sanders supporters are bleeding from major arteries tonight and it's spilling out on the Convention floor. 

I'm eager to see the riot tonight. I would love it if sanders pulled a Cruz tonight as thousands are screaming for him to do something and he announces for everyone to Vote Their Hearts!!!

The point is that we aren't 100% sure it was Russia.  In the court of law you have to be proven guilty without reasonable doubt.  But, in the global court of foreign affairs it's ok to have an entire nation blaming our cold war rival.  The evidence all the reports are pointing to are; the code was in Russian, they took off Russian holidays, and were in a Russian time zone.  Maybe someone was trying to cover their trail and lead it back to Russia.  Maybe it was another country, maybe someone in our own country, maybe just some hacker nerd wanting to sit back and lol.  Blaming Russia without definitive proof is irresponsible bs.

This literally is a nightmare for Clinton.

Now I am a Trump supporter, but even I figured once she got through the whole email/server scandal,she pretty much had clear sailing to the White House. But this latest round could do her in-- especially if it is a slow leak of emails and they get progressively worse.

We need to make a list of all news sources that are on the take.  BuzzFeed, Politico, NBC, & CNN.  I'm sure there plenty more.

This batch will get blown over and buried under the DNC coverage this week. It would take more severe emails closer to the election for it to mean or do anything.

If Bernie and his supporters fall in line even with the above presented, you have your answer on if these emails will have any impact on any thing. I'm calling this batch DOA, sending DWS on her way will be the response, nothing to see in the media.

which is of greater concern for you: Russians directly messing with the presidential election or DNC messing with the presidential election? Because I gotta say, for me, a foreign power doing this much much worse. It's bad enough that Trump's in the bag for them, which is kind of interesting considering all the static HRC's gotten with their foundation for influence peddling, but active Russian intervention is taking it to another level.

Kind of a vague term there but I get your drift.

Regardless, I'm kinda talked out about it after a year or more of the chatter about it. Arrest whoever and move on. What we seem to be only just grasping now, however, is Trump is in deep with the Russians and they're actively aiding his election campaign. Did he reach out to them? Or did he just get the heads up things were coming down the pike?

Or, maybe, does the actual leak not give a damn about American politics?  Or that it wasn't from Russia and the Dems are just spit-balling to get through another crisis?

Or: Does the content matter more than the source?  It's not like these are fake emails.  These are the thoughts of operatives that have long been seen as Clinton cheerleaders and its now been proven to be so.  #CorruptLivesMatter
