Do You Facebook? (2 Viewers)

I just ignored a friend request from this girl, whom I don't know, but I thought Otis might be interested.
Link just brings me to my ugly mug on my profile....
Hmmmm, sorry. Search "Lilia Zarin" in New York.
I got nothing.
:hey: GB
I like the garage bar. That turned out great. When can I stop by for a cold one?
anytime :hey:

Just saw a new status update from a chick I'm facebook friends with:

"######### just ruined a marriage and she didn't even realize it. Why does this always happen to me?"

Already exchanged a few texts and will be hitting up happy hour later this week.

Been trying to find a college buddy for awhile now... Do you know how many Hanson's there are in this area?? :wall:

Finally today did a search at Facebook for classmates for the college and year I graduated and bingo.. Find out he has a Kid 8 years older than mine  ..

Last week found an old High school buddy that I haven't talked to since I got married in 1991.. Liking it more and more each day

Just found out my SO made a facebook account. Story is that it is so she can be part of the new group that was made for her HS reunion coming up this summer. I asked her if she posted a pic and she said yes. Guess I need to start hiding money. :goodposting:

If you click "Ignore" on a friend request, does it go back to them that you clicked Ignore?
No
thank-you
Yeah that '25 random things' is getting annoying.
I thought about doing it, but 25 is a lot.
It's worse than that though. I should really keep from clicking those notes, but my curiosity always gets the better of me. So I end up learning far more about some classmate who absently friended me six months ago than I ever needed to know. Oh great, you're bi-sexual. And you've been in abusive relationships. And you used to be a cutter. I don't want to know that ####.

Some girl from my past friended me and tagged me to post a memory about her. I vaguely remember her name, but I don't have a clue about a memory. I think we went to elementary school together.

Make something up. Preferably something sexual.

I signed up for an account, but only to poke around at other people's profiles (those that are public, anyway). I'm not necessarily interested in having some people find me.

Anyone else here gotten invites to or participate in "Mafia Wars"
I have a friend who is obsessed with it. For a while it was all he talked about and I think he was even late to a work meeting because of it one day.
What's it all about? I have invites from several friends, but if it's gonna consume me, I should probably stay away ;)
Apparently you do mafia-like jobs and fight other mafias and you get loot from both of those things (cool cars, etc.). I've only had it explained to me a couple of times, and I'm not really sure what the appeal is, so someone who plays it should probably weigh in.

I don't play Mafia, but I've gotten pretty hooked on Vampires over the past few days. If anyone is interested, pm me your info and I'll send an invite.

I accepted an invite from someone whose name I didn't recognize but had several high-school friends in common with me, so I figured we must have been in school together. Fine. Now I've received several PMs from her, with the last one reciting a bunch of stuff she remembered about me from some class she said we had together in 8th grade. She was right about everything she remembered. Then I was looking at another person's profile and saw this woman had written about me on that person's profile as well--"Oh, I think I have some pictures of Krista around here I should post..." I'm starting to think someone has/had a lesbian crush on me. :goodposting:

Girl A+ is really into Mafia Wars and could probably answer questions about it. I went in once but couldn't get into it. What is Vampires?

Also, is there some way for me to separate people into groups on my Facebook? I'm getting overrun by people I apparently went to school with but don't remember, and I'd like to be able to separate them from my current friends. Maybe separate the people from here as well into an iGroup...

So much for "STAYS HERE".

Vampires is probably another version of Mafia. Basically you go on Missions, fight other vampires, and try to accumulate blood. You gain special abilities by either using your accumulated blood as currency, or by fighting.

So I can create a new Friend group called something like "People I don't particularly give a s*** about" and drop people in there. Does this seperate these people from seeing what my *real* friends are up to or write? I'm still fairly new to FB. What I want is to basically jail some people who are just acquaintances or coworkers from being involved in my real friends/life if that makes any sense.

Yes. You can set up friend lists, then go into your privacy settings at the top of your page, and choose what each network and each group of friends gets to see. Very helpful for when you've got coworkers as FB friends and you don't want them seeing the newsfeed of you playing WordTwist all day. :moneybag:
