Where does one find a fall guy? Are they expensive? Do they have specialties? Like do you need an arson guy, an armed robbery guy, a DUI guy, etc. or does one guy handle it all?

I would imagine you have to have a guy who has no priors, otherwise the dude will end up in jail forever.

If I was super rich I would have several fall guys, ya know, just in case.

Doubt they believed me, but was always nice to tell them Scott, or John were the bad influences and I shouldn't be punished

I think the idea is that it's not "snitching" because the other guy is in on it and didn't actually do anything.

Snitching generally implies that the guy you're ratting on actually did what you are saying he did.
