Honestly I don't really get it. Is an up arrow click simply a thumbs up? And downward click like thumbs down?

In an ideal world, it's meant for readers to rate legit answers to questions based on whether they agree with the response or not, resulting in the best answers moving to the top of the thread.

In the FFA, it's utter chaos.

The good news is that there’s no chance for this to be misused and utilized for bullying. We’re all adults here and we can trust that the resultant data will be both objective and fair.

And being adults we recognize that to be hurt via the Internet is just silly. One time in my short career year did a topic get into my feelings. It was Baltimore Bridge thread. You know what I did? I stopped going to that thread. Took a break. Miraculously enough it worked out. I live to fight another day. Ha ha
