It just sucks that Matt Millen isn't in charge this year. He led this team into a potential 0-16 season and others have to weather the blame. Reminds me of Dubya soon to be relinquishing control of this country.

I want them to go 0-16 because they ruined Thanksgiving football ... I was looking so forward to watching a good game, I'll never forgive them.

Non fan-I voted NO.

However, it will be the best thing for the Lions if it happens....imo.

They have to blow up this francise from Owner to ushers.

huh? he was in charge this year and they fired him after week 3 ... it's kind of late to fire a GM and not still blame him, which is what people ARE doingwhat do you mean by OTHERS are weathering the blame? maybe you mean Marinelli ... he deserves some, but clearly Millen is the fall guy for running this franchise into the ground

So if the Lions do go 0-16...

Do you think that in the future the players will celebrate by opening bottled water every year that the last winless team win's a game during the season?

Pole did not work for me...Non-fan voting yes...silly franchise with dumb owners. Tired of them getting lauded as "good, old school ownership". The Cookes and Rooneys belong in that conversation...not the Fords. As I said, I am not a Lions fan (or hater), I just feel for their 57 fans who put more into the franchise than the actual people that own it.

I think he still has to eat that notoriety. He was at the helm in the offseason when the GM has the most impact on the team. Sure, he could stand up there and say, "if they wouldn't have traded Roy E. Williams they would've won a game," but that was the only move that was made in this organization that he was not responsible for....

Giants fan... indifferent when it comes to the Lions so no bias opinion. The answer is No. No team really deserves to go 0-16, you have guys that gut it out every week, put their bodies on the line and play through injuries for the right to say they play for an NFL franchise. The Lion's spirits are probably dead right now so I don't their players are going to be risking life and limb anytime in the next 2 weeks, but I hope they get a win honestly.

Hell yes I want to see them go 0-16!! I'm a Seahawks fan, and it keeps a lot of attention off our crappy season.

Lions fan (I guess) and I'd love to see them do it. William Clay Ford absolutley deserves to be saddled with the distinction of the first 0-16 team.

I rather see the last four teams playing them let them win. They are going no where with 4 wins, plus this way they don't get a high draft pick and they will stink again next year so all can kick their butts again!

It's kinda interesting that the Lions fans are rooting for 0-16 at a greater rate than the non-Lions fans.

You failed to include an "I don't care" poll choice.
But you care enough to make a post about it?
I took the time to click on the topic. I took the time to mention that whether or not the Lions go 0-16 wasn't something I cared much about. Is that against the rules? :(

My eight year old wants them to win one bad. I told him if they go 0-16 he should choose another NFL team to be loyal to...38 years of my life wasted on cheering on awful teams I don't want him to have the same life long disappointment.

Millen didn't ruin the world economy and ...I better not even say the rest.

The perfect season would be 0-16 AND to have a Matt Millen scandle surface that causes them to lose their first round pick.

I am not a Lions fan. I want them to go 0-16 for one reason only. I heard a sad story on the radio here in Denver about one of the morning show DJ's friend or relative who lives in Detroit that was recently laid off from his job and I think lost his house. This guy, when he still had money, placed a bet at 100:1 odds that the Lions would go 0-16. It's a hard luck story, and I don't know how much he put down on the bet, but I hope this guy wins his bet.

I don't want them to go 0-16. Going 1-15 shows you're pathetic, and the fans shouldn't have to bear that burden.

Remember how the Chargers were 1-15 several years ago? You don't? See, you can be bad enough to demand improvement and not embarrass your fans to that specific degree. Just win one, guys.

Texas Rangers Fan - Doesn't matter. Even going 0-16 won't change the attitude, philosophy and business model of the Detroit Lions. Unfortunately.

I have nothing against the lions, in fact, I think lions and oakland games are somewhat entertaining.

Not really, but your original comment ironically and somewhat comically demonstrates, among other things, interest in the subject. :hot:
