Doctors concerned Bridgewater will never play again (1 Viewer)

 Teddy had 14 TDs - 9 INTs 3200 yards

Bradford 20 TDs, 5 INTs 3800 yards.   Bradford is not an elite QB but he is at least as good as Teddy. With a healthy Peterson they just need to drive the bus and keep it on the road.
Bradford just seems to unvalued wherever he goes. Neither the Rams or Eagles want anything to do with him. Not saying he doesn't have some skill but surely it's obvious that the Vikings got hosed on the trade and while Bradford will play for now, Bridgewater (or anyone else) is likely to be the longer term plan....

I'll take the young crappy guy who could still progress over the established and proven slightly less crappy guy.

Don`t think this news will affect the Vikings plans as Bridgewater is not an upgrade from Bradford.
Bradford's career 6.56 YPA says otherwise.

At least with TB there's hope for improvement.

[insert Bob McGaw novel on how Bradford is actually a stud QB]

Just saw news that he is most likely not playing next year.

I was on this rather early, in agreement with the MDs referenced in the first page of this article. This guy's injury is a complete mess. Hopefully he can return some day but I really don't think he will be performing at an extremely high level at any point the rest of his career. If he has a career going forward

Full disclosure, I was never that big of a fan of Teddy to begin with. I thought MIN struck out on him. I was beginning to second guess that assessment going into this season, but I never saw anything special with him.

I'd agree that Bradford is probably better than Teddy. But Bradford is nothing special either. I think MIN at least has a chance going forward with Bradford. His end of season stats were actually quite surprising to me when you break it down on where he ranks. If MIN had an OL I think their season would have turned out way different.

Disclaimer: in no shape or form am I posting here to troll Viking fans or stick my finger in a sensitive wound. Seems I have to say that these days to not irritate some of the snowflakes out there. Injuries, the body, and recovery is what I do every day and it interests me. So I tend to gravitate toward injury threads. This happens to be a Viking, which is a rival of my favorite team, but if it were the Jaguars I'd be commenting the exact same. So if you get your panties in a wad at what I say because you can't get past my favorite team, I apologize but that is not my intention.

I'll take the guy that made Thielen a 1k yard receiver (almost), since I own him, over the guy that only looks at Diggs, since I don't own him. :D

You claim specialized knowledge regarding Teddy’s injury that you do not have. You have not examined Teddy Bridgewater. You are speculating on his injury the same as anyone else. So what are you patting yourself on the back for?

As already mentioned, when the ambulance had to come get Teddy Bridgewater from practice, pretty sure most of us knew this was a serious injury, your profession does not add any additional insight or information regarding that, because you have not examined Bridgewater, you do not know anything more about Teddy’s injury than anyone else.

Your lack of emotional intelligence and maturity reflects a lack of professionalism in how you communicate with others. Your derogatory, passive aggressive descriptions of my reactions to you on this matter, which suggest that you think I am being overly sensitive and so on makes me wonder if you speak to patients in physical therapy in a similar manner? If so how is that working out for you?

You have added nothing to the conversation but some navel gazing insults and self-congratulation for making statements of the obvious.

I never mentioned you in my posting. I don't understand why you're so mad about this

No I have not directly examined him but I have had contact since this injury with people who know the situation, and it's grim. My professional networking has allowed me to develop contacts within a few sports organizations: Seattle, Green Bay, Minnesota, Chargers

If you want to discuss my behavior and talents in my profession, I can refer you to my ranking in the top 5% in the nation in patient satisfaction 3 years running.

If it makes you feel better, I will write my postings while wearing a safety pin?

Or maybe I'm better off leaving you on block and you can continue to talk to yourself when quoting me. Because you clearly have an unhealthy obsession with responding to my postings in most threads and trying to bring me down. Won't work, but maybe if you get no response to me it'll help you get over whatever complex you have. Good luck buddy!   Stay excellent!  :D  #blocked
