Does Le'Veon Keep His Job? (1 Viewer)

I started scobee support group and a does bell keep his job thread, too.

I thought I hit the wrong link and was over at fftoday by mistake.

:fishing: to the max, in a trolling boat with no actual lure, just a hook floating in water and STILL catching some fish. Bravo.
it's not successful if no one is taking it seriously and all the responses are said in jest.

In all seriousness though, is Johnston gonna be vulturing TDs from DWill and Bell all year? Because if that's the case, I'm gonna be furious. :hot:

As dumb as this thread is, it's definitely reasonable to expect that Bell's workload will be significantly less compared to last year. DeAngelo looks good and I'm not sure why the Steelers wouldn't mix both of the RBs in a lot.
Also, Will Johnson will looks to vulture TDs all year!

I loved watching him run. Had him during his 16 TD campaign. This was a nice throwback. Would love to see Leveon Bell tear his ACL. Wait, no...

You just can't sit a guy who has the ability to score 18 rushing TDs in a single season. Would you sit Marshal Faulk? Emmit Smith? LaDanian Tomlinson? I didn't think so.

I think Bell is a strong enough goalline back to not think about pulling him down there. And yes like the other poster said, he didn't exactly do that great down there tonight.

This is a giant circle jerk huh?
Yes. And without being a ninny, I'm not even sure why it's funny. It's really sort of pathetic in a way that's sort of existentially sad.

:shrugs:

I loved when Sebowski told Lambskin to get out of the beer thread because he'd just wind up trolling it. I couldn't tell if Sebowski was serious or not, but lol.

DeAngelo looking explosive

This is a guy who's had a monster season in the past...Bell really not that special
Listen here Mr. Sheepsepidermis... You're crazy to think that Williams is gonna take Bell's job.

Pretty sure you know that... Wait... Are you DeAngelo's mom?
Its probably not so much "take his job" But the Steelers need a 2nd WR, which means Bell is next man up..

Do you even watch Football

:wall: You're not really this blind to the tone of this thread are you?
Useless? Seems on point.
Oh, this just keeps folding back in upon itself, one iteration at a time. Like a hipster with a trucker hat in the '90s, always one step ahead of the peasants. Is he serious? Is he really trolling you to troll you about football, or he is trolling you for your reaction to the trolling? Does he really truck and wear truck hats and drink Bud and like it? You'll never know, ####er.

It's so...brave.

Will be curious how the backs get utilized week 2. If that fullback guy gets the GL carries again Bell basically becomes a poor mans Matt Forte

Probably an imperfect analogy, though I remember in 2011 when Forte was getting yanked at the goal line for Marion Barber. That was frustrating until Forte hurt his MCL and if you handcuffed the two that year (maddeningly frustrating) you wound up with a few productive games from Barber come FF playoff time.

Who was the guy that got the start when Barber went down? Do you remember? I remember some cat in our league picked him up for Week 15 or 16 and tried to ride him to victory. He hung around for a few years and signed with the Jets at one point.

eta* Kahlil Bell! That's who it was. Anyway, if you went with Barber in Week 14 against the Broncos, you got some good production out of him, but when he didn't run out of bounds and Prater kicked that bomb from 55+ to send it into overtime, he got in Lovie's doghouse and Bell was snapped up on waiver wires everywhere. Anyway, not even Wiki has that information, but if you really followed it, you can remember that as the turning point of many fantasy seasons, speaking to the strategies of handcuffing backs, reading running back depth charts, and deciphering coach-speak. But per Wiki, Bell rushed for over 120 yards in Week 15, and left owners of Forte and Barber everywhere scrambling.

Yeah them CB's should try n mix things up...

Ya know,,, DWill is actually running back.

Truthfully, Bell probably cost some a kings ransom to draft, but yeah "poor mans" does make some sense..

p.s. spot on post btw!

USA Today reporting that some source telling them Bell has been released. ATL, CLE, DAL reported to be interested.
As a Bell owner I'd prefer a spot where they didn't have any other RBs on the roster, just so something like this doesn't happen again. I think maybe he'd be safe in Atlanta because Freeman is unproven and Coleman is a rookie, but you never know.
