Dolphin Players bullied Jonathan Martin, Richie Incognito SUSPENDED (2 Viewers)

Career Over.
Martin's? Maybe

Richie? He'd get signed tomorrow if the Phins cut him.

Hate to say it, but nobody likes a whistle-blower. Right or wrong, bullies bring less drama. Publicly everyone says, "yes, bring in the rat" but behind closed doors they say "gimme the bully"
Wanna bet? Say 15 to 100k?

Cmon, do it!
Yeah, if there's money rolling on this, count me in. He's cut as of today, sources say. Dizzy, PM me and we'll find a reliable escrow.

Several GMs chimed in today behind the scenes and they did not think highly of how Martin handled this...I believe ESPN ran that story.

Incognito can just file his retirement papers but Martin may not ever wear a uniform again either. Done in Miami, but maybe the NFL as well.

Depending on the GMs, I don't think highly of how some are handling their teams either so...

That's really sad to me, honestly, if it proves true. Dude showed up to work and did his job (well). He gave the team a chance to fix the issue and they didn't.

Figured this would be the case.

Serious question - does anyone know if NFL teams have an "HR Dept"? I mean like a normal company, where the HR is supposed to be neutral and take no sides.

I just realized I don't think I've ever heard it mentioned when problems arise on teams. It seems that HR is the Head Coach, who is FAR too close to the situation to be neutral (his job's linked to team performance).

Dude, why do you insist over and over again in this thread on dragging Martin through the dirt? You just can't seem to help yourself I guess. You even posted rumors earlier about the guy's sexual orientation. Others have called you out on it but you still insist on doing it. Why don't you just accept the fact that your beloved Dolphins are a festering sore of an Organization and focus on how and why they allowed this type of thug atmosphere to pervade the clubhouse? Seriously.

You have no clue what you're talking about. Seriously.

I like it when he just says stuff with no regard for it's veracity or relevance. Especially when he says people said things they didn't say and did things they didn't do. That's gold, Jerry.

I would pay money to watch the "punch the bully in the mouth" crowd - try punching Incognito in the mouth.
Let me ask you......would you rather take a chance and punch a guy in the mouth or give him 100,000 dollars of your money.
$100k, I'm short and don't like pain.
What if you were 6'5 320

Still don't like pain. Again, it's the way I live my life. I don't believe in violence. It usually just leads to more violence. Punch a guy and he returns with a knife. Pull a knife and the guy returns with a gun.

The only way it ends is when one person is dead. I believe this is why you are seeing kids lash out in such violent ways. Due to social media, the taunting and bullying never ends.
Not necessarily. Teammates have come to blows going back forever in sports.
not me. I'd bring my knife to the gunfight.

What if the guy I'm punching is 6'3"/320 and insane?

I might not worry about the fight. But I'd worry about my back being turned after the fight.
If Incognito went that route he would be brought up on real charges for assault. If Martin duked it out in closed practices every time Incognito opened his mouth, none of this would be in the news right now.
