**Dolphins at Texans** (-3, 47) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Houston with only 86 total yards at half-time. Weaver is doing a very good job.
Maybe they can hire him as Head Coach

-My apologies for being a smart *** SBD, you're good peeps but many of the Tua/MM supporters are nowhere to be found right now...they've vacated the Phins' thread this season
Every week I show up on Monday Morning to discuss and its just crickets in there
And I think I'm pretty fair, I defend many of the players including Tua when they are playing well but just end up a little short, it's football

What Miami comes out and shows vs better teams is disturbing

Patheticus McDaniel and Tua Tags doing what they do in December just like every headCoach/QB tandem before them in the 21st Century
Carson Beck might fall to the 2nd or 3rd round. Does Miami pull the trigger.

Achane prevented a TD with that tackle.
I would.

You take a QB every draft.

Shula always took a QB literally almost every draft even when we had Marino.

It’s hard to hit on them…..so you just take em till you do.
And this is NOT a Miami thing, I feel the same way about several NFL teams out there, morons to not keep drafting QBs until they find an arm they can stick with and build around

-Indy didn't get it right at #4 with ARich, we can all see it
I can go on and on listing NFL teams that would be wise to keep grabbing arms on the cheap in the 2nd-3rd-4th until they get it right. Heck even the 1st when you have a chance to get one

Waddle out for the game?
He's hurt all the time, again today.
I think teams know they an get in his head and have him off the field with not a lot of effort or 15-yd unnecessary roughness penalties
I believe he's outside the Top 30 in FF, Miami way overpaid this guy like they do everyone except Van Ginkel and you see what he's done for the Vikings this season

Miami down 2 scores and desperately in need of a TD, more short throws along or behind the LOS, staple of M&M's offense
And on 3rd down again a short pass that has no chance of turning into a FD or getting Miami into the end zone

I've never seen a coach settle for FGs down 20-6 but McD continues to defy logic

Houston Fans…..you have a lot to look forward to with this team.

But not yet……not yet.

Another year in the draft and free agency and they might be ready for a deep run in 2025/26 season

They were in the RZ and he was on the sideline holding his helmet...they didn't say OUT but he sure seems like he's not returning right now
Maybe that changes in the 4th

Whoa what happened?
Grant Dubose with a serious head/neck injury on a hit from Bullock. Taken off on a stretcher with no obvious movement.
I didn't even know we had a WR named Dubose on the roster but T&Ps to not just him but I'm sure his family and loved ones are beside themselves right now
Early word is he's going straight to the hospital
Hate to see these H2H collisions
He was the guy who deflected a pass against Buf causing an INT in the first matchup.

Never drafting waddle again. I actually dropped him a long time ago. But he hurt me a bunch when he was on my roster

I think Miami is probably a better team than Houston is right now. They'd probably have a better record if they played in the South and Tua hadn't missed 4 games. Miami is still very much alive in the playoff hunt with a win.

For Houston, I think I'm starting to really wonder if Tank Dell is even the 2nd best WR when Diggs is hurt. I'd like to see Houston use John Metchie more, and perhaps that happens this week as Miami is awful against slot WRs, but defends the outside guys pretty well. That likely won't matter against Nico Collins, but Dell could see a lot of Jalen Ramsey. I think Miami does a decent job against Mixon.

I think Tua has a nice game against a mediocre secondary, that just lost its 2nd best player (Pitre) I think this especially sets up as a nice game for Achane in the pass game. If anything derails the offense, it'll be Patrick Paul vs Danielle Hunter, but I would think/hope Miami doesn't leave him on an island too much.

Miami-24
Huston-21
Pitiful are the Phins

-Just make a note to avoid all of them vs superior teams which I get why you think the way you do
Tua 30+ 4 weeks in a row, why would you not want to ride him? But you don't because Miami shrinks vs any decent NFL team

Announcer is a dumbass. If there's 2:10 left before the 3rd down play you use the timeout on that side of the 2 min warning. If there's 2:04 left you let it tick down to 2 mins so they don't get a free no risk passing play to try and pick up the 1st down.

Damn you tua
I was writing when you posted...wow 4 turnovers for a $200+M franchise QB
Miami was 6-7, likely 8-5 if Tua doesn't land on IR so these teams were hailed as evenly matched

So sad that Miami fans run around with Tua jerseys on ready to fight other fans who point out how horrific this kid is against anyone who is decent
Noodle arm, Chad Pennington and perhaps not even that good

I was wrong about Chop, he's gonna be a force especially as a pass rusher. And Patrick Paul has potential.

Miami needs to draft another edge. There are many good ones in 2025.

The Weaver defense gave up only 185 total yards to HOU.
