Journal has an interesting article, which voices many things that fans have been thinking - that being it is very unlikely Driver will wear the green and gold this season.

A couple of weeks ago at the NFL draft, Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy danced around questions of a 14th season for Donald Driver in Green Bay.

Anticipating they would be asked about the future of the Packers' all-time leading receiver, the general manager and the coach apparently had ready-made deflection lines about Driver's successful appearances on "Dancing With the Stars."

But neither would commit to another year for one of the team's most popular players.

So - where will he go, and will he be fantasy relevant?

I have heard suggestions that Indi would be a good fit. One would think that Seattle might like to have a familiar face for Flynn to toss the ball to

Personally, I think it is 50/50 he retires.

Honestly, I hadn't spent any time considering his situation specifically, but I just sort of assumed he was probably retiring... unless he was ok with a much smaller role for GB going forward.

He's a great guy and has had a great career. But I do not believe he is fantasy relevent in 2012. He MAY play with the Packers, but I think they will want to see what Cobb can do. I expect he will retire and be given some sort of position with the team.

In some ways I think its less about Cobb (I think they know what they have there) but its more about Gurley and Borel.

Exactly. Last year when other teams wanted to sign Gurley and Borel off the Packer's practice squad the Packers bumped up their salaries to the minimum. They like both. But Driver is not due his roster bonus until they go to training camp. He has also said he is willing to take a pay cut. I don't think you see a decision until training camp. I think if they suffer no major injuries the Packer's will release him early in camp to give him a chance to catch on with another team.I could see him ending up in Miami or Houston. He is a Houston native.
