RYAN WILLIAMS !!!1111Hokies Represent!Love the pick for the Cards. Move him up your draft boards.
I've already been pimping this guy in the Survivor league threads, welcome to the bandwagon I started Pasquino.Williams has more upside than any other RB in this draft, and even from last year's draft for that matter.Could be a homerun type of pick.
Don't even try it, Pac-10 Boy. Virginia Tech is one team I follow in college, and I've been "on that bandwagon" for quite a while. There's plenty of room, even for you. Welcome aboard. :)Let me know when you start the ***Official*** Bandwagon thread.

The fans in SF definitely don't want to hear any more about Alex Smith. I really do hope he is gone. Hill was struggling learning the playbook. Smith is just afraid to play football and winces after a lot of throws if someone is near. Grab any vet behind SF's solid line and they will be much better this year while they groom the kid.

Like this pick for the Cowboys. Can never have enough pass rushers, but it's interesting news for Anthony Spencer. Billick just said ILB, but I think he might fit as an outside rusher. Sean Lee is probably slotted at WILB.

Carter is another first-round quality player who fell because of medical stuff. The weird thing is that they are stacked at OLB with Ware and Spencer and Lee looks like a keeper at ILB... wonder if he poaches James spot

I get the "grab any vet" sentiment, but I'm trying to pluck one out of my mind that it could be. Bulger? Hasselbeck? Collins? Grossman? McNabb?

I think McNabb could be the guy

Ryan Williams skyrockets up FF dynasty drafts...even a tremendous sleeper as a rookie in standard redrafts.

Needs to learn pass protection, but this kid has special talent.

Sheard is a good addition for the Browns for sure, needed pass rush punch something fierce. Weird that the Raiders are getting something out of Wimbley that the Browns couldn't.
Well the Browns got third rounder last year and he's our starting QB so it could turn out to be a Charlie Sheen type of 'winning' for the Browns if Colt eventually pans out.

I watch a lot of UNC football and Bruce Carter is a game changer! Dallas is a great place for him. He can get fully healthy and ease his way in. Once healthy, he will contribute right away. He was also a beast on special teams too - I want to say he had 7 blocked kicks/punts in his stay at Carolina.

He doesn't have that much room to skyrocket; most see him @ 1.4/1.5 prior to AZ picking him.

Why do people think that Arizona is a great destination for Ryan Williams? They're a terrible run blocking team, and have two other viable NFL backs in Beanie and Hightower. I can't think of many teams that I think would be a worse destination that the Cards. What am I missing?

:goodposting: I have been on his bandwagon for a long time now. He is my favorite RB in this draft. I was hoping to nab him with the 1.05 pick in one of my rookie drafts. Probably not now. :(

Lock out in the middle of the draft.
It's just the stay before the appeals court rules on the real stay early next week. If the appeals court does indeed grant that stay until they hear the case on June 13th, it's going to suck for all of us as the lockout gets entrenched.

Reed is a real nice pick for Houston to get some pass rush punch, could be a quite a pair of OLBs if Barwin gets all the way back. That being said, the secondary is still beyond terrible

Beanie is not viable. Sorry.

I have to laugh at anyone who writes of 22 year old Beanie Wells.

He and Williams are going to be quite a 1-2 punch, but I don't see Williams as being any more valuable than he was 30 minutes ago.

Painful for the undrafted rookies who won't be able to sign, though. Changes the 6th and 7th round a bit.

LOL based on one injury plagued year?I'd say he looked pretty "viable" the year before.

opportunity, that's it - assuming that Wells is on the outs. Of course, Arizona isn't going to outright cut Wells and I don't expect them to trade him at a deep discount either. So we could have a DeAngelo/Stewart (albeit in a terrible run game) situation brewing. Agree that it's not ideal - but the theory is his talent will make the cream rise to the top.

So they're going to cut him? Doesn't he have a couple years left on his contract? Do you think this lights a fire under his a? I'm not seeing Arizona as anywhere near a "good" destination. Please explain further than "Beanie is not viable."

Terrible fantasy destination for Rudolph - at least in terms of immediate value. There will probably be at least 2 TEs I put ahead of him despite having him in the top 20 of the pre-draft 100.
