They acquired Larry Tripplett in free agency so DT isn't the concern it once was.

Left tackle, however, still is.

Take Justice in the 1st, McCargo in the 2nd if you really still need a DT.

Isn't the real question here is which is greater than the other...1. Justice in first, McCargo/Watson in the 2nd

or

2. Ngata in first, Winston/McNeill in the 2nd

I like Justice better than Ngata, but I like the OT available in the 2nd more then the DT's.

 Good call, but it looks to me like they win either way. But o-line is in more need of help that the d-line is, so I think option 1 is the better way to go.

A little high for both Justice and Bunkley and Ngata doesn't fit their new scheme as well. I agree that it would be easier to get a OT in the 2nd than a DT, but I still think I would go with Justice here.

Agreed. Tough situation. I believe Levy is dead serious about background checks and character evaluations. Do Justice's minor infractions have an impact here?

I think that he handled himself with enough aplomb and self-effacing to turn it into a non-issue.

I thought Cutler might get a little play here. The situation in the trenches is too dire, I suppose. The QB situation is so wonderful. :D

Just a thought. I think Cutler is Levy type of guy, and not worthy of the comparison, but similar in personality and play to Jim Kelly.

:excited: Where were you two weeks ago when I suggested Cutler to the Bills?

I hope Levy knows to build from the line. He has a stud RB that is greatly underutilized because of the OL. Losman isn't great, but if he gets time, he might be ok. If not, Holcomb is a decent filler. Also, they might be able to grab a QB like Whitehurst later if Watson / McCargo isn't there.
