Oh DEAR!
This is some awesome applesauce right here!

4th in points in a league full of women and children, you should be proud. From reading your posts on here, I'd have picked you to finish dead last. Way to overachieve, Rudy.'Sweetness_34 said:Haters forgot to post the link again this week? Another win. Tied for 2nd place at 5-2. 4th highest point scorer in the league. If things go your way you could be the King of the Guppies! Well done!12 team league. Actually tied for 2nd... 4 th due to points scored but lotsa football left. My top 3 players are done with bye weeks - Brees Demaryus Thomas and Forte. And Gates too who seems to be turning it around. Jordy back to being Jordy from last year and Britt seems to have a shot to be WR2 rest of the way.....
Have to believe the fact that he got butthurt when no one bumped it and bumped it himself only proves my initial post in this thread. i.e. Trolling from the start. This thread gets me every time. It's just a glorified and much more embarrassing "hey look at my awesome team" signature. Sweetness, seriously, thanks for the laughs dude.

Now do me a favor and look at post #174 and you will see it was magically updated yesterday to include the week 7 results too. If you want to bump your thread that's cool, but please stop the ignorant "haters forgot to post a link" blather. Both times you've used that line the links had already been posted. Do you see a pattern?Look at post #174 where I posted your first 5 weeks results. Please notice that over 3 days ago I updated it to include the week 6 results as soon as they were final. Nice awareness.4-2....2nd place. Kenny Britt and Gates back to stud like production. Forte should get back on track.....how come no one posted a link after this week?![]()
I kind of feel bad for you at this point, so let me give you some honest, constructive advice: This thread went badly for you. It made you look really stupid, and we all had a good laugh about it. These things happen. The only way you could possibly make yourself look even stupider than you already did is by bumping the thread after winning a game with the 4th-highest score and moving into a tie for second place. It's not helping your case, and even if you go undefeated the rest of the season and win your guppy-league championship game by 1,000 points, the best outcome for you is to never bump this thread again and hope everyone else forgets about it.'Sweetness_34 said:Haters forgot to post the link again this week? Who was the guppy in this league now?You want a good headache....get into a guppies league and I guarantee you will not know what to do when it is your turn to draft. Tonight I had my draft with a league that I am in for many years now. It is friends from work and we have a great time....but the value that falls in these drafts and the mistakes that are made are hilarious. Here are some salient features of this draft which will help you get ready for such a draft:- Someone drafted Matt Bryant - K, ATL in the 3rd round (3.01) thinking he was drafting Matt Ryan, QB Atl. And this is an online draft on yahoo so I am not sure how he went and searched for Matt bryant.- Someone drafted Ryan Grant late - The guy who drafted MJD at 1.12 did not get Jennings and I get him in the 16th round.- This draft always has a run on QBs. So knowing that, I drafted Brees with 1.06 after the first 5 picks were top 3 RBs and Rodgers + Brady. Guess who goes 1.09 and 1.11 => Stafford and Cam Newton. Now it is a 6 pt/TD league but really? - Brandon Marshall went 2.01 which is not all that bad. - Mike Turner and Frank Gore went 3.5 and 3.9, before Charles, Ryan Matthews, Steven Jackson etc- Greg Jennings went 2.4One team (49 er homer) actually drafted as follows from 1.09:Stafford => Greg Jennings => Frank Gore => San Fran D (yes in the 4th round) => Vernon Davis => Vincent Jackson => David Akers => Andrew Luck => Mike Tolbert => Mario Manningham => Gresham => Houston D => Laurent Robinson => Dexter McCluster => Burleson => Mike Nugent => Bernard ScottI am still staring at her team on the screen completely perplexed at the incompetency of FF drafting. If this team above wins it all, I will never ever play FF again....I mean it. Sorry I had to share this experience with some folks. While I am still in shock at the craziness that ensued at the draft, I landed up with the following team from 1.06. This is a 1 Qb, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 WR/RB, TE, D, K league:QB: Brees (1.6)RB: Forte (2.7); Isaac Redman (6.7), Kevin Smith (8.7), Ryan Williams (9.6), Benson (13.6), Rashad Jennings (16.7) WR: Jordy Nelson (3.6), Demaryus Thomas (4.7), Kenny Britt (7.6), Amendola (10.7), Lance Moore (12.7)TE: Antonio Gates (5.6), Jacon Tamme (11.6)K: Gostowski (14.7)D: Cincy (15.6), Minnesota (17.6)
How is it luck that you drafted bad players?I drafted from the 5 spot in a 14 team guppy league (redraft) I am in. We only have 11 roster spots. Start 1 qb, 1 rb, 1 wr, 1 te, 1 pk, 1 dst, and 2 flex spots r/w/teHere is the team I draftedhilip Rivers, Jay CutlerLeSean McCoy, Ryan Mathews, Ahmad BradshawPercy Harvin, Reggie Wayne, Pierre GarconJimmy GrahamMatt BryantPatriots D(dropped Garcon for Britt)I am sitting in the middle of the pack at 4-4. The guy in 1st place at 6-1-1 has:Vick, PalmerLeShoure, Alfred Morris, Ray RiceBrandon Marshall, Miles Austin, Roddy WhiteOwen DanielsGouldPackers DSTThe guy in 2nd place at 6-2 has:Cam NewtonWillis McGahee, MJD, Rashad Jennings, Vick BallardVictor Cruz, Demaryius Thomas, DHBJason WittenGostkowskiBroncos DSTThe guy tied for 2nd place at 6-2 has:Brady, DaltonS-Jax, J-StewKerley, Vincent Jackson, AJ Green, BoldinCelekSuishamBears DSTSo much for the "guppy" theory. It's all luck.
Awesome.Great question. I had my kids interrupt me right before my pick and my clock ran out leading to Yahoo auto picking the K.......also Yahoo has Jennings really low on their list (same thing for Kevin Smith who I had to search to draft) so I found after my Cincy pick that Jennings was still aroundif your not a guppy, then why did you draft gostowski ahead of r jennings?

I'm glad Statcruncher does it. It's rare I enjoy following a fantasy team that's not mine, but I want to see what happens.'shadyridr said:I dont know whats funnier in this thread. Sweetness's record or Statcruncher updating some random post in the middle of the thread![]()
I was actually doing that out of sympathy for the OP. I wanted to keep his results up to date, but didn't want to be the one who kept bumping this thread to the top each week. By editing my post instead of adding a new one each week this thread had a chance to die instead of being prolonged agony to the OP.After further review, seeing the OP talking smack after his last 2 wins and being MIA following his last 2 losses, and the overwhelming enjoyment some folks are getting out of this thread, I will go ahead and list the results in a new post every week.'shadyridr said:I dont know whats funnier in this thread. Book it.I rank that right up there with the use of "pro tip".Do people really use the term "guppies"?
That might be the worst insult anyone has ever said to me.Im pretty bad and post alot...but I am nowhere near the brain dead homer this guy is (despite what you may try and claim). He's like the sho nuff of Bears fans. Not just any Bears fan though...this one is special.'Tony Jabroni said:I'm shocked this is coming from a Bear fan. I'm guessing because he or she hasn't won in a long timeI feel bad for the guy (or girl). He (or she) hasn't bumped the thread in a long time.
