Drew Brees (1 Viewer)

I am usually not one to pick nits, and don't want to reveal too much subscriber content...but, the top 200 going forward has Brees ranked QB6, and as having equivalent value to Ahmad Bradshaw/Law Firm.

Really?

This is someone who FBG has ranked below QB4 ONCE all year, and typically is ranked QB 1-3.

Is his schedule that terrible that one should be looking to upgrade? Yes, he still has a game against Dallas and SF, but other than that, pretty managable.

Thoughts?

Early top 200 forward uses Tremblay's projections instead of Dodds'. I wouldn't be surprised to see Brees jump by this evening once David gets his numbers in.

this is still a worrying thing for the site to do. if the answer is simply "It's not right wait til later" why put them out? if someone makes a trade of Brees for Bradshaw and BJGE and thinks they got a ripoff according to the site they pay for, they are not getting their money's worth

Everyone should own their team, making a move based on any site is dumb. FBG is a good site but I definitely don't have blind faith in what they put out.

very good logic. seems pretty rational to me. i'm not sure why this happens, though i did start seeing the disclaimer about Dodds' sheets needing some extra time each week.

agree to a point but they are asking for your money to advise you on your team. when their advice is as wrong as this something needs to change. to ever give your paying customers advice that says Bradshaw/BJGE = Brees at any time is very bad work

Unless, of course, they're right. Projecting Brees at qb6 ROS is only an issue if they're wrong.

But that would be such a radical change for the site. EVERY week except one they have listed him as QB 4 or better, and typically he is listed as QB1-3. Even if he is QB 6 (which mean he would have fallen off quite a bit), but let's grant the site that, some of the other guys include Marcel Reese, who might be on the bench in three weeks, Fred Jackson, who is in a time share and not playing tonight. There is no chance that if the authour of this list happened to have Brees and RGIII via lucky drafting that they would trade him for any of the guys listed in Brees' vicinity and think it was fair value.

True if they are right and actually think Bradshaw and green Ellis will provide similar value to the best fantasy player over the past 2 years I would expect at least a note of explanation

Yeah...ummm...you completely missed the point. Hines' issue (to borrow a phrase that SSOG uses) is not the result - it's process. He's not questioning the ranking, but how it was arrived at (or how/why FBG posted it in the first place). And Hines clearly doesn't have "blind faith" in the rankings either - which is exactly why he questioning them - and more specifically, how they were produced.
