Driver (1 Viewer)

The reason there's nothing about his injury status is because it's a non-factor.... he's playing.

Driver, Tauscher returns to practice

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Packers wide receiver Donald Driver

returned to practice today for the first time since injuring his

shoulder in Sunday's 30-to-19 victory over San Francisco.

Driver didn't talk to the media afterward, but he was all smiles

in the locker room.

Driver is listed as questionable to play this Sunday against

Detroit, but the coaching staff seems sure that he'll be able to

play.

Offensive coordinator Jeff Jagodzinski says he wishes he could

field a team with eleven Donald Drivers. Jagodzinski says Driver is

fun to watch in practice and the way he practices is the way he

plays.

Starting right tackle Mark Tauscher also finally returned to the

practice field after a severe groin injury has caused him to miss

four games.

Tauscher worked with the scout team today and is still doubtful

to play this week.

Jagodzinski says Tauscher needs confidence over anything else

right now and he may be too sore to participate in practice

tomorrow.

Thanks for the late breaking news............from last Thursday. :wall:

Is anyone concerned about Driver's recent poor outings v. Detroit's below-average secondary (3/20/1 this year, 4/32 and 4/48 last year)? I'm pulling my hair out this a.m about going with Driver (who one would think has a good matchup despite his last 3 games v. Det) or Holt (@ Oak). Not a WDIS question, but rather looking for people's (hopefully unbiased) thoughts on whether Driver is likely to reverse his recent trend v. the Lions.

ETA: uh...never mind. I see this issue has been discussed in the "other" DD thread.

I have been concerned about Driver's recent past against the Lions too, and looked up the same numbers you posted. My gut tells me to start him. He has been money most of this year and is hot as Hades right now.
