Drunk Stallworth Sorry (1 Viewer)

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-b...p&type=lgns

Here is the problem with drunk drivers. They are only sorry the time they kill some innocent person. Every other time they get behind a wheel drunk they don't care. They can handle it, they can drive.

I know a bunch of lowlife losers will defend him and say things to make it seem like drunk driving is okay, but it isn't. 24 days in jail is a joke for killing a man.
The racist haters can just bite me. A black man serves his time required by our judical system and the haters come out of the closet to pile on him.
You know you're allowed to disagree with toshiba, as I do, without suggesting that he's a racist.
Well it's a sad day for people like him when a black man isn't behind bars for a long time.
I don't think it's a 'suggestion' anymore.

That's not "semantics" at all. That's like saying a guy who hits someone today, but drank three weeks ago, was drunk at the time he got into his accident.
relax. someone needs a bong toke........ weed is good! happy?i'd be willing to bet that he ripped of a nice fat stack when he woke up & then was heading off to the gym.

:sadbanana: Now there's a loaded statement

I explained in another thread how his sentence makes complete sense and fit the crime. I'll try to remember which.
do you even read threads, or do you just find ones you haven't wozzed up yet and then go try to make them about you?
Just wrote a 17 page brief in 7 hours. I'm tired man. So, yes.
What are the odds you could have conveyed your message in much fewer than 17 pages?

I don't even smoke week anymore. :pickle:It's a question of whether or not he was under the influence at the time of the accident. Do you disagree?

we don't know how much weed was in his system or when he smoked it. my comment was more a barb at the 'system'. that a guy kills someone while drunk & has weed in system as well & walks away with 30 days is a joke(to me). that's the same amount of time my buddy spent in jail for his 2nd dui. he's an alcoholic & i'm not making excuses for his drunk driving, but the same 30 day sentence? laughable.

High, but I was irriated at the prosecutor and wanted to make him do some work.

Then the states prosecution analyzed a still-sealed traffic camera video, which showed Stallworth braking his vehicle immediately after Reyes ran into the street, outside of the crosswalk. The way everything happened, he says, I do feel that I would have hit him even if I was sober.

So why, then, take full blame in front of the rookies and anyone else who asks?

At the end of the day, I was wrong, he says. I was driving under the influence and should not have been. Anything after that doesnt matter. Ive accepted responsibility for it. If I wasnt on that road it wouldnt have happened, and if I wasnt driving under the influence I wouldnt have been on that road.

Olbermann Slams ‘Supposed News Website’ HuffPost for Hiring 9/11 Truther

This week The Huffington Post brought on ex-NFL wide receiver Donte Stallworth as a national security fellow. There’s just one problem: he very publicly made it clear on his Twitter account just years ago that he’s a 9/11 truther. Stallworth says he no longer believes that, but last night on ESPN, that did not stop Keith Olbermann from ripping HuffPost a new one.

Olbermann focused on NFL receivers taking some interesting part-time jobs, and eventually got to Stallworth. He was rather taken aback at Stallworth being given that “fellow” title, saying, “I don’t know why they’re using an academia think tank term at The Huffington Post. Still, it is more honest than calling people at The Huffington Post journalists.”

Olbermann was amazed that HuffPost was drawn to Stallworth, in part, because of his LGBT comments, but not because of his 9/11 lunacy. Olbermann summed up just how ridiculous the whole thing is:

“So your supposed news website just hired to cover national security a still-theoretically active NFL player with no journalism experience, who’s a 9/11 truther, supposedly reformed about being a 9/11 truther but lying about when he reformed, and oh, by the way, pleaded guilty to killing a man with a car during a DUI five years ago.”
