As a 30 year old, this might be the funniest movie I can remember.
You don't get out much, do you?Airplane, Caddyshack, Animal House >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> D&D
This is what I'm talking about. It's a clear step below the classics (including Blazing Saddles).

Oh, come on. D&D is the funniest move since those three and deserves to be mentioned alongside those.
Incorrect.

This man knows things.

A buddy and I watched Dumb and Dumber, Happy Gilmore, and Billy Madison about a billion times in middle school. I think I touched my first female genitals during this movie.

Loved it. Only gave it a 9 because of the bathroom scene. I've heard that's the favorite scene for some, but I'm not a fan of toilet humor.
Funniest scene in the movie. :toilet:
Not surprised you liked it.
Yeah, I'm a guy.
Doubtful.
Only to an idiot.
:potkettle:
If that's an admission you're an idiot, I understand. But speak for yourself.

Talk about two movies that don't deserve to be in the discussion.

Since we're on the theme of "comedy has gone to #### over the last 20 years" and for the old-timers "I believe you mean 30 years young fella".

I think there's another movie that belongs in this class that came out a year after D&D...."Friday".

Oh come on, Airplane in particular is so overrated. Watch it now, it's about as funny as a network comedy.

You know, if :lmao: were likes, you'd have run out of them about 6 months ago.

Yeah I called her up. She gave me a bunch of crap about me not listening to her, or something. I don’t know, I wasn’t really paying attention.

The first time I set eyes on Mary Swanson, I just got that old fashioned romantic feeling where I’d do anything to bone her.

That’s a special feeling, Lloyd.

Same here, with the inclusion of tommy boy. Pretty sure there was a two year period in like 9th grade where all communication was quotes from those movies.

 I still see that guy a few times a year and we completely revert back to communicating with quotes from those movies.

I'd add, to all you old snobs, that I voted 9 in this poll solely out of respect for the the greatest comedy ever, caddyshack.

But downplaying d and d is just being contrarian.

Dazed and Confused and Friday would be my top choices for early-mid 90's flicks we couldn't stop quoting.

Though, I was never much of a fan of Happy Gilmore/Billy Madison. Though, I did love Sandler's stand-up CD (Shampoo is bettah!!!) and quoted the hell out of it.

My grandma gave me that chain

10 for me.

I guess they're right. Senior citizens, although slow and dangerous behind the wheel, can still serve a purpose. I'll be right back. Don't you go dying on me!

Still do the shampoo/conditioner schtick when giving my daughter a bath.

She then always adds the "stop looking at me swan!"
