Rotoworld:

FSU QB Everett Golson has not committed a turnover this season on 170 plays.
That is the second longest streak in the country, with Memphis quarterback Paxton Lynch at 182. As ESPN's Jared Shanker points out, Golson committed a turnover once out of every 25 "action" plays last season at Notre Dame. We were optimistic about Golson's fit with the Noles, and he has played quite well. The quarterback might not create as many big plays as Jameis Wiston, but one thing Jimbo Fisher prioritizes more than big gains is turnovers.

Rotoworld:

Arizona State senior WR D.J. Foster rushed for 80 yards on five carries while catching three passes for 21 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 48-23 drubbing of Colorado.
63 of Foster's 80 rushing yards came on one run in the fourth quarter, as he took a carry up the middle, cut through the Colorado defense and bolted through the secondary toward glory. The 5-foot-11, 205-pound senior was caught from behind by a determined Colorado defender to prevent what initially looked like a sure touchdown. For the season, Foster's caught 29 passes for 267 yards and three touchdowns while rushing 27 times for 195 yards. His move to WR has been less productive than one would hope.

Rotoworld:

Playing in his first game since his suspension was lifted, Rutgers senior WR Leonte Carroo caught seven passes for 134 yards and three touchdowns in Saturday's 31-24 loss to Michigan State.
Carroo hadn't played since Week 2 due to a suspension stemming from an alleged incident of domestic violence, but he was reinstated last week, practiced on Thursday and proceeded to almost single-handedly wreck Michigan State's undefeated season. Almost. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound senior caught all three touchdown passes thrown by QB Chris Laviano, but Laviano would inexplicably spike the ball on fourth down in the final minutes to help the Spartans escape with a 31-24 win. This was Carroo's second three-touchdown performance of the season. Overall, Carroo's logged 14 catches for 315 yards and six touchdowns. Rutgers will take a road date with Indiana next week.

Rotoworld:

Michigan State senior QB Connor Cook completed 23-of-38 passes for 357 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Saturday's 31-24 win over Rutgers.
Cook's yardage total set a season-high, but his season as a whole has been somewhat disappointing. The 6-foot-4, 218-pound senior's completing a shade under 60% of his passes while throwing for 1,334 yards with a 12/2 TD/INT ratio through six games. These numbers look respectable enough, but Cook's thrown for more than two touchdowns just once this season. He's thrown for fewer than 200 yards in half of Michigan State's games, with fewer than 150 yards passing in two contests. A road trip to face off with in-state rival Michigan next weekend will represent the toughest defensive test he's faced this season. Even under normal circumstances, Cook's a low-upside DFS target. Against one of the best defenses in the country, he probably shouldn't be targeted at all.

Rotoworld:

Utah senior RB Devontae Booker went off for 222 rushing yards (6.5 YPC) and two touchdowns on 34 carries in Saturday's 30-24 win over Cal.
He added four catches for 45 yards, leading the squad in the latter category as well. Booker was at it from the start, busting a 40-yard touchdown rush that featured all of his best traits, a quick cut at the line, acceleration through a small opening, a broken tackle, a burst to the outside and then a sprint down the sideline to the house. Booker is up to 665 yards and six scores on the ground and 19 catches for 194 yards through the air. His value to Utah is akin to Leonard Fournette's value to LSU.

Rotoworld:

TCU senior QB Trevone Boykin snatched victory from the jaws of defeat late in Saturday's 52-45 win over Kansas State, rushing for two touchdowns and throwing for another in the fourth quarter to lead the Horned Frogs to the victory.
After Kansas State scored two minutes into the fourth quarter, TCU trailed 42-31. And then, Trevone Boykin happened. He started the comeback with a 14-yard touchdown run to bring the Horned Frogs to within 42-38. That paled in comparison to his next score, which saw him roll to the right before simply outrunning the entire defense for a 69-yard touchdown. Kansas State would then tie up the proceedings with a field goal, leaving the stage to Boykin, who subsequently hit Josh Doctson on a 55-yard touchdown. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound senior's already thrown for 20 touchdowns. He's also rushed for four. His DFS price will always be among the more expensive on the board, but he's backing it with a beautiful 2015 season to this point.

Rotoworld:

Colorado State junior WR Rashard Higgins was held to three catches for 42 yards in Saturday's 41-10 loss to Boise State.
Boise State's defense once again proved that it's a unit that should be feared and worshipped in equal measure. Higgins is one of the best receivers in the country, but the Broncos almost completely shut him down on Saturday. The 6-foot-2, 188-pound junior's now logged 33 catches for 468 yards and four touchdowns. Better times will be a-comin' for Higgins. Sometimes, it's just not your day. He'll try to rebound in next Saturday's home date with Air Force.

Oct 10 - 10:59 PM

Rotoworld:

Mississippi State HC Dan Mullen said that Louisiana Tech graduate QB Jeff Driskel is "the real deal at quarterback."

Mullen was quite complimentary of Driskel, calling him not just "the real deal at quarterback," but also "a big-time player." The 6-foot-4, 237-pound graduate gunslinger has three games this season with 300-plus yards passing. This includes Saturday's win over UTSA. In that contest, he completed 28-of-44 passes for 351 yards, a touchdown and an interception. In addition to sporting a 11/3 TD/INT ratio, Driskel's also scored five touchdowns rushing.

Rotoworld:

USC interim HC Clay Helton called Notre Dame junior WR William Fuller "probably one of the premier wideouts in the country right now."

Helton could have omitted the word "probably." The 6-foot, 180-pound Fuller has 571 receiving yards on the season, helping to bridge the gap from Everett Golson to Malik Zaire to DeShone Kizer. He's been held under 100 yards in three straight games, however, and it's clear Helton would like to extend that streak on Saturday when the embattled Trojans take on the Fighting Irish.

Rotoworld:

TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline is being told by west coach scouts that USC redshirt senior QB Cody Kessler "could end up as a last day pick."

Some may be surprised by this dispatch, but we aren't. Kessler has been exposed this season as a quarterback whose physical limitations require that he be surrounded by elite talent to excel. "Scouts ranked Kessler as the top senior quarterback entering the season ahead of Michigan State’s Connor Cook but the more they watch the more they are concerned by the physical limitations Kessler brings," Pauline wrote. "The feeling is his lack of height, average arm strength and below average foot speed won’t translate well to the next level and the physical skills are unworthy of a top 100 selection." The Trojans' 6-foot-1, 215-pound redshirt senior needs to play at an elite level the rest of the season to go on Day 2.

Oct 13 - 9:03 PM
USC redshirt senior QB Cody Kessler's performance against the Huskies "showcased why a lot of NFL evaluators aren't high on his pro projection," CBS Sports' Dane Brugler notes.

The USC prospect had a rough outing in USC's loss to Washington last Saturday, as he completed only 55-percent of his throws for 156 passing yards. On the day, Kessler also added in two interceptions, making it his first multi-interception outing, in almost two years. Brugler notes that Kessler's "production looks good on paper, but his tape is underwhelming when talking about his transition to the next level."

Rotoworld:

Tyler Boyd - WR - Panthers

Pittsburgh junior WR Tyler Boyd posted eight catches for 68 yards and two scores in Saturday's 31-28 victory against Georgia Tech.

Boyd also ran the ball for 26 yards on five carries. Though Boyd's stats are down, circumstances are primarily to blame. He was suspended in Week 1. Since then, he's been Pitt's only offensive weapon, consistently double-teamed. Nathan Peterman is an upgrade over Chad Voytik, but that's not saying much. Boyd has 41 catches for 396 yards and four scores on the year. He's very good after the catch and will be among the top receivers drafted this spring.

Rotoworld:

Baylor redshirt junior WR Corey Coleman made mincemeat of West Virginia's lauded secondary on Saturday, catching 10 balls for 199 yards and three scores.

If you didn't get a chance to watch the game but just want one clip to encapsulate another one of Coleman's Neo performances, click the link below. We're not exactly sure how you defend this guy. He's one of the sport's fastest receivers, but he's also one of its most agile. It's not just that, though: He fights for the ball, he can jump higher than you, he's quick-twitch and he'll out-muscle any corner. We say he's the draft's best receiver prospect. We wouldn't be surprised if other sites eventually come around to agreeing with us, beginning, perhaps, with this upcoming week. With 16 touchdowns in six games, Coleman already owns Baylor's single-season receiving touchdown record. He has at least seven games left, eight if Baylor reaches the championship. Strap in, kids.

Rotoworld:

Miss State junior WR De'Runnya Wilson caught seven passes for 85 yards in the school's 45-20 win over Louisiana Tech.

Wilson has struggled at times this season after a bit of a turbulent offseason, but perhaps this game sets him up for the stretch. For a 6'4" or 6'5" receiver, Wilson was losing too many 50-50 situations. He did not today.

Oct 17 - 5:12 PM

Rotoworld:

Miss State senior QB Dak Prescott completed 30 of 43 attempts for 347 yards and three touchdowns in the school's 45-20 win over Louisiana Tech.

Prescott has quietly been on a rampage this season (outside of the loss to Texas A&M). He has yet to thrown an interception and is elevating the talent around him despite losing a number of players to the NFL. Miss St faces Kentucky next.

Oct 17 - 4:38 PM

Rotoworld:

FSU QB Everett Golson completed 26 of 38 attempts for 372 yards and three touchdowns in the school's 41-21 win over Louisville.

Golson created so many plays for the Seminoles today. The offensive line allowed a good amount of pressure, but Golson used quickness and timing to spin away from it and hit receivers on crossing routes or outlet passes. He has yet to throw an interception and now leads the country in that category.

Oct 17 - 4:11 PM

Rotoworld:

BYU junior WR Nick Kurtz caught six passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns in Friday's 38-24 win over Cincinnati.

Kurtz caught his first touchdown pass with 9:31 remaining in the third quarter. It was a thing of beauty, as Kurtz hauled in the ball over his shoulder while diving out of bounds against tight coverage. The 6-foot-5, 205-pound junior tapped his toes in the end zone while maintaining control to tie the contest at 17-all. His 53-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter was far easier. On that one, there wasn't a defender within five yards in any direction and all freshman QB Tanner Mangum had to do was throw the ball on target. Which he did. Almost the entirety of Kurtz's output this season has come in two games. In addition to Friday's 119 yards, he also posted 123 in the team's season-opening win over Nebraska. He's gone for a combined 112 yards in BYU's other five games.

Oct 17 - 12:30 AM

Rotoworld:

Penn State junior QB Christian Hackenberg completed 7-of-13 passes for 120 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 38-10 loss to Ohio State.

Hackenberg produced four total touchdowns against Indiana, but the Buckeye defense made certain that was just a one-week renaissance. Hack did average 9.2 yards per attempt in Saturday's contest, but Penn State was unable to capitalize on their scoring chances. With five sacks piled on by Ohio State, the 6-foot-4, 212-pound junior's been sacked 24 times through seven games. Five contests this season have seen him throw for fewer than 200 yards. That Saturday's 120-yard passing effort didn't even represent a season-low for Hackenberg tells you all you need to know.

Pharoh Cooper is a nice little player. Just seems like the type of guy who will have a solid career as a secondary option/utility player in the NFL. Bet he will be a 2nd-3rd round pick.
Another big game this weekend. This guy is your classic "football player" who seems likely to become a pretty good pro even if he doesn't fit the exact prototype of an NFL WR. I could see a team like the Packers or Pats really liking this guy for his versatility.
