Oregon QB Vernon Adams told Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle that he has not had a pre-draft visit or private workout with an NFL team during the draft process.
Adams did attend the Rams' local pro day, but that does not count in this scenario. The Oregon quarterback is a favorite of many media evaluators, including us. His tape to start the season was not good, and playing with a broken finger could be the cause. However, once healed, he returned and played at a very high level, both inside the function of the offense and outside of it. Adams shows comfort and quick decision making inside of the pocket, and an ability to improvise outside of it. With all of that said, we do not expect him to be drafted.
