Rashaad Penny, RB, San Diego State — Penny is not the fastest back in the world, but he does have some of the best vision in the draft class this year. He is a good one-cut runner who always finds the opening and he has good top-end speed as well, so once he gets into the open field he can break it open. Penny finished with a game-high 64 rushing yards on nine carries and caught a 73-yard touchdown pass from Virginia QB Kurt Benkert.Faust said:

Here’s your Hunt/Kamara of this class

Hard to shine at LSU with the garbage they’ve run out at QB.In the category of "better as a pro than in college" it sounds like DJ Chark should join Calvin Ridley.
Weird week for penny. Critized for his blocking. But come game time he made plays.I'm hearing less than flattering things about Penny here at FBGs recently. Some links were posted somewhere regarding his most recent performances / workouts.
Chark was one of the more effective deep threats in college football this year, with 8 40+ yard receptions and 12.9 yards per target. He made 3 out of the 4 WR leaderboards that I posted (here and here). I'll be on board if he has the sub-4.4 speed to match the role.In the category of "better as a pro than in college" it sounds like DJ Chark should join Calvin Ridley.

There was some negative press on his pass block ability. It will be fun to see where everyone goes. Weak fa market, strong rb class, and 6-8 teams that a rookie could earn the lead role on. While Barkley/guice are firmly at the top for most it will be very interesting how chubb, Michel, penny, and jones get slotted. Let’s at least mention Johnson and freeman as well.Someone else posted it earlier.

Interesting, I haven’t noticed that gives me a really good reason to go back and watch some football. There was some negative press on his pass block ability. Grab the best running backs first then take your highest graded WR and TE later. Just look at the talent that’s available. Obviously depending on your scoring system but the more I look, read and listen it’s grab the top backs, then go for the best available WRs and if you need a TE grab one of the big 3.Good year to have a late 1st or early 2nd.
Not sure I would classify any of the TEs as big 3.Grab the best running backs first then take your highest graded WR and TE later. Just look at the talent that’s available. Not from what I've readI haven’t looked at the tight ends at all. Would any go ahead of Howard, Engram and Njoku?
Last year’s draft was loaded at tight end, with three first-round picks and a deep group full of athleticism and mismatch potential.
This year’s class may lack the athletic upside of players like O.J. Howard, Evan Engram and David Njoku, but it still boasts a handful of intriguing prospects who can make an instant impact at the next level.
Probably not but there is some talent in this group. A lot seem to be Ertz or Witten like. Solid guys who could have long careers. Many seem to have great hands but maybe not as quick but like them will have to learn to block. One or Two could go late first but I see 3 or 4 by end of the second and a few more by end of the 3rd. Deep group overall. I expect some will end up better than at least one guy from last year for sure over career.I haven’t looked at the tight ends at all. Would any go ahead of Howard, Engram and Njoku?
Probably not. Doesnt mean a team at the end of round1 wont take mark andrews thoughI haven’t looked at the tight ends at all. Would any go ahead of Howard, Engram and Njoku?
I would take Mark over Njoku and he’d Probably be drafted over him NFL wise or maybe in that same area.I haven’t looked at the tight ends at all. Would any go ahead of Howard, Engram and Njoku?
