[Dynasty] 2023 NFL Draft Class (2 Viewers)

Calijah Kancey had a nice Pro Day

3-Cone 6.82
20-yard Shuttle 4.33

Amongst IDL, the fastest ever Combine 3-Cone is 7.07.

His short shuttle would have ranked 5th all-time.

DT Calijah Kancey's numbers from Combine/Pro Day

HT: 6-1 (9th percentile)
WT: 283 (6th percentile)
10-yard: 1.64 (95th percentile)
40: 4.67 (99th percentile)
3-cone: 6.82 (99th percentile)
Short shuttle: 4.33 (94th percentile)

Is everyone finding this site https://www.profootballnetwork.com/mockdraft/ to be completely unrealistic?
Other than the trades aren’t realistic (I’ve had times my team acquires 6 2024 2nd round picks while still getting the players I want) are the players going about what we’d expect?
My sim ended with the titans getting JSN, Anton Harrison in the 2nd and Herndon Hooker in the 3rd. That would be sweet.

PFN has had the loosest mock drafts over the past few years, of the 4 sites I've done a bunch of mocks on. The Draft Network & NFL Mock Draft Database have been the most realistic.

Meaning that I was often able to draft players much later than they wound up going in the NFL draft. On average, for every 100 points of draft capital I used on a player (according to one of those draft value charts), I got someone who went for 146 points of draft capital in the NFL draft, e.g. the guy I get at pick 58 gets drafted at pick 31.

The comparison, for my 2020-22 mocks:

1.18 The Draft Network
1.25 NFL Mock Draft Database
1.36 PFF
1.46 Pro Football Network

I usually don't do trades in my mocks (too easy for that to go crazy), so don't know how they compare on trades.

FMIA: What the First Four Teams Will Do on Draft Night and Owners Challenging Goodell

NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah reports the Titans are a team to "keep an eye on" to move up to the No. 3 overall pick.

Speaking on his Move the Sticks podcast last week, Jeremiah pinpointed the Titans and Raiders as two teams "people around the league" told him to "keep an eye on" to move up to the No. 3 overall pick. The Raiders recently signed Jimmy Garoppolo to a three-year, $72.75 million contract, but the Titans have Ryan Tannehill on the final year of his four-year contract and are in need of an upgrade sooner or later. With the Cardinals currently holding the third pick, and Kyler Murray fresh off a lucrative extension, it wouldn't be surprising to see them willing to part with the pick for a substantial haul. The Titans won't be in contention for a top pick in the 2024 draft, which makes a trade with the Cardinals all the more logical as the team prepares to move on from Tannehill.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Colts worked out QBs C.J Stroud and Bryce Young Monday.

The Colts hold the fourth overall pick in this month's NFL Draft and are in need of a quarterback for the coming season and beyond after releasing Matt Ryan. The team also is scheduled to work our Will Levis on Friday. With Arizona picking third, it is highly likely that one of Stroud, Young, Anthony Richardson, or Will Levis are available when the Colts find themselves on the clock for the first time on the 27th of April. The signing of Gardner Minshew also gives the Colts options with the possibility to develop the quarterback they choose at fourth overall throughout the coming season. Either way, Indianapolis are doing their due diligence during the season of speculation.

First Round QBs in the 2023 NFL Draft: C.J. Stroud, Bryce Young, Malik Cunningham and Hendon Hooker
A tad hyperbolic but this guy has been high on Malik Cunningham and hasn't come down so if he hits then I'll give him credit for making the call very early.

Ravens Replacing Lamar Jackson with Malik Cunningham?
The Ravens and their star quarterback (QB) Lamar Jackson have reached an impasse in their negotiations, leaving open the possibility that the team could replace him with Louisville QB Malik Cunningham.
What?
As “wild” as that may sound, it’s a distinct possibility that the Ravens’ could go back to Louisville to find their future leader.
Why?
Cunningham has a similar style to Jackson as a true dual-threat.
In addition, Cunningham left Louisville with a higher QBR rating than Jackson. He also had a higher completion percentage and a higher yards-per-completion rate.
Here’s what the analytics have to say on the matter...

Malik Cunningham isn't one of those players that people realize will do very well in the NFL process - but his intelligence and the way he understands the game is far beyond his years.

Everyone loves NFL draft sleepers. Who are some prospects that will make you look smart when you know their names and all of your buddies are left wondering who their favorite team just selected?
Here are a few names to place on your radar:

8 Super-Athletes in 2023 NFL Draft Serving as Deep Sleepers

This is a pretty decent list

Really like Sidy Sow, very athletic G, feel like he's going to be a Day 3 pick who ends up starting somewhere
