Dynasty pick ups for 2026 (4 Viewers)

ok its that time of year. some dynasty teams are out , others will follow in next 2 weeks. the crazy IDP guys are out there looking for end of roster stashes who might climb fast in the off season if a vet retires or moves on in FA.

Off the top of my head and in no order:

Water Nolan DT AZ - looks like a beast. Struggle to stay on the field but that should improve with a decent off season. Questionable offensive situation next years means plenty of tackle opportunities. Should be a priority in DT required leagues

Keven Winston S TN - beast. Lets thank @Bri for beating this drum until his chance came. Get him now,

New Orleans LB position - D Davis is done I think, Im not averse to holding Stutsman over the summer to see. And, Questionably , but, Werner is free, There is a chance he comes out of this as the main guy next year just by default,

Mike Green DE BAL - getting better every week. If he is out there grab him.

Derrick Harmon DT PIT - might get DE eligibility too. Looks like a Heyward clone. Currently hurt, If he gets dropped next few days grab him.

Chop Robinson DE MIA - been hurt just when his chance came up, but the Fins love him. Hes going to start next season.

What you described is the only reason I haven't cut Werner.

Him and Nic Scourton are the two I'm looking at adding after the week 14 byes.

I'll also add Jordan Magee LB WSH - he's flashed recently and as noted this may be the end for Bobby Wagner. I usually don't prioritize DB's, but Jaylen Reed had a lot of box / slot snaps last week, so I'm taking him for a spin.

** Nolan DT Ari
Campbell has been good this year but he does have to retire sometime
* also with Arizona consider DE Jordan Burch

** Winston S Ten has really looked good lately

** NO LB Davis will have to retire at some point also
Is Stutsman a sure thing ?
Who is Isaiah Stilbird ?

** Harmon DT Pit
Does he get the reps or does Keeanu Benton ?

Good topic. Related: Bellefeuil and Davenport put up new dynasty rankings this week. FBG has been putting out at least monthly updates during the season, which is awesome.

Guys I'm stashing that either aren't startable or are injury fill-ins with an expiration date:
Buchanan, Magee, Simon, Winston, Nick Martin (not sure why - just have him on a taxi), Nolen, Madabuike, Kiser.

And of course, if Herbig ever hits the waiver wire, snag him if you can make room. I dropped him in a few places this year and feel like a fool.

Scourton is a good call. I wouldn't wait if he is variable, get him now.

I'm gambling since he's on bye next week, just hoping he doesn't blow up today 🤞

Nice day for Chop yesterday and Jets and Steelers up next. He is startable now. He isn't on waivers in any of my leagues (to be fair I own him nearly everywhere), but if he is available in your league I would get him right now

Does anyone have a feel for Cody Simon's outlook for next season?
Will they be cleaning house? I have guarded optimism he'll be given a shot if the current group is back, but less so if they walk the plank. Can't fix everything all at once, and ILB may not be a priority, but an ordinary 4th rd pick of the prior regime would obviously be vulnerable.

I'm in a pretty deep 11 combined IDP's (1 DT, 2 DE, 2 CB required) with 12 man taxi.

Here's some of my deeper holds:
Jaquelin Roy (DT)
Derick Hall (DE) - Maybe next year is the year?
Tyree Wilson (DE) - Cause why not
Jake Martin (DE)
Charles Snowden (DE)
Shemar James (LB) - had some flashes
Nick Martin (LB)
Jeffrey Bassa (LB)
Quincy Riley (CB)
Ty Okada (S)

Here's some of my drops:
Akeem Davis-Gaither (LB)
Payton Turner (DE)
Smael Mondon (LB) - years away from payoff
Cody Lindenberg (LB) - was worth a shot
Jay Higgins (LB) - see Cody Lindenberg

Here are some guys I recently picked up in my super deep dynasty (90 man rosters):

Brandon Dorlus - ATL, DT/DE
Travis Jones - BAL, DT
Baron Browning - ARE, DE
Jaylen McCollough - LAR, S
Shaun Dolac - LAR, LB
Elijah Ponder - NE, LB

I picked up these guys in the off season or earlier in the year that have done decent and show promise for the future:

Moro Ojomo - PHI, DT
Donovan Ezeiruaku - DAL, DE
Jalyx Hunt - PHI, DE
Isaiah McGuire - CLE, DE
Sam Okuayinonu - SF, DE
Teddye Buchanan - BAL, LB
Upton Stout - SF, CB
Jeremy Reaves - WAS, S
Craig Woodson - NE, S

Jeremy Reaves - WAS, S
Craig Woodson - NE, S
These guys have disappointed as of late. I am not even sure Reaves is getting snaps with the secondary getting healthy. I didn't see him on the field much the last couple games.
Yeah Reaves looks like a drop right now. Others are healthy and snap count unpredictable.

Woodson is a coin flip. If I am not in the playoffs I am holding this guy to see what he does over the next few weeks. If I was in the playoffs, its hard to feel good starting this guy.

Jeremy Reaves - WAS, S
Craig Woodson - NE, S

Yeah, I think I picked them up when they had injuries in the secondary. Reaves is probably going back to backup/package status. However, Woodson has been getting at least 90% of the snaps all season (though I can't find counts for wk 14 for some reason) and I believe he plays SS but can't trust all the depth charts.

PFF says he's been deep for 461/801 snaps.

Yeah, figures. A lot of these DCs are rotating their players between SS, FS, LB, and NB it appears. So when you look at the depth chart for any given site, some may show him as SS and others may show him as FS. Looks like he's almost 50/50 between FS and SS. Which obviously is frustrating.
