I wouldn't trust either of the 2 in my lineup right now. As a Skins fan, the staff still likes Morris and he isn't going anywhere. Could Jones get a few more carries than Morris every now and then? Sure. But the Skins offense isn't exactly clicking and if they get down in games, they've shown they have no problem abandoning then run. Hell, they were leading most of the game last week against Atlanta and Morris/Jones combined for 19 carries. I just have a hard time seeing Jones doing much this year as long as Morris is there. Now, if Morris went down, then sure, fire up Jones every week. But with Morris and the emergence of Chris Thompson, it's probably better to stay away from this backfield for now.A Morris handcuff? I'd only burn a roster spot on top RBs, guys where you'd really be screwed if they got hurt. Right now Morris is barely startable himself. It's hard to justify using a roster spot on a Morris handcuff at this point. Maybe in bigger leagues, perhaps. In re-draft? I don't know. Morris isn't going anywhere this year and Chris Thompson is getting the work on passing downs. Hard to trust Jones as anything other than a Morris handcuff for now.Buy low?
TDs are hard to predict, but Morris has ZERO through five games. That ain't good. If I had to start one, I'd prefer Jones' low floor and higher ceiling right now than Morris's slightly higher floor and very low ceiling.
dropped alfred morris to pick him up actually
