The Eagles are legit but I just don't think that offense is good enough. They're not very good at passing and they're not very good at running.
Hey Chase, cool statistics. One problem. They conveniently include the Eagles when they were a different team. Night/day for McNabb and co (passing+rushing), Ravens game as the tipping point. Here is some very recent evidence: McNabb went 23-for-34 for 300 yards 1/1 on the road against a defense that you lauded for being good against the pass. Why do you hate the Eagles so much?
Since I'm using the exact same metrics when I grade every team, I would think it's clear that I don't hate the Eagles. Since my metrics put the Eagles in the top 3 teams in the league, it sounds to me like I'm more of an Eagles  than a hater. The Eagles have played very well the last month; that doesn't mean the first three months of the season should be ignored. That's a rookie mistake, IMO.

Just a comment about the McNabb benching...what the heck is everyone talking about. McNabb and the rest of the team were horrible so it wasn;t a benching as much as pulling him in a game that the outcome was decided. I mean why keep him in during that game. he started the next game so I think it was a smart move.
It was 7-10 at halftime and he was pulled at the start of the third quarter.

No one loves whacky stats like Chase. No one.I prefer my eyeballs, and when I see the Eagles play their "A" game on offense, few teams if any can stop it.

Your eyeballs are great, but they don't see much with those glasses over them.

I feel strongly right now that the Eagles are going to run the table this year much like the Colts did in 2006.Right now I think they have the best balance on offense and defense in the NFL. McNabb is on the top of his game and they are smartly using Buckhlater more on power runs. Most importantly, their defense is dominate right now though! They were very lucky to get in but now that they are there I think they will run the table. This is the year IMO that McNabb will get his playoff monkey off his back just like Manning did in 2006.
wow, you are high, and delusional. they have to go on the road against a rested giants team. they will lose.
Well they went into the Meadowlands in Week 14 and won. The Giants sputtered down the stretch somewhat. This will be a tough test for both teams but I just think the Eagles are playing better right now than the Giants. Carolina is a very good offensive team but they are vulnerable on defense.
i love this. all the sudden looks like the eagles are going to the SB! :coffee: it's gonna be the giants and panthers in the NFC Championship. sorry.

I think the Eagles are a very strong team. They have dominated the Giants, Steelers, Falcons and Cowboys this season. The knock on them is they aren't consistent. They crush a couple teams and mix in a lousy loss to the Redskins. If they stay focused, they should win this whole thing. You just don't know which Eagles team will show up. Could lay an egg at any time.
The Giants ran over them in the first game - even though the final score didn't show it. The second game was during the Plaxico/Pierce fiasco and Tuck was hurt and sick.

That's a bold statement, considering they are the two teams with home field advantage and the two NFC favorites. You should probably do a lot of gambling. You seem to have a knack.

QuiteMy favorite time of the year is when fans' teams are sitting home so they turn to dissing the remaining teams. :lmao:
