A nice story. Eagles win by 20By week 7, preseason suppositions should have worn off and people who watch football should have a sense of which teams are good and which are not.
But this apparently doesn't apply to the 2024 Philadelphia Eagles, who have some sort of cloak of delusion that leads otherwise smart people to believe they are a playoff-caliber team.
They should not be a field goal road favorite against anyone, especially a Giants team that is showing some fight.
And the history favors NY as well. (As a side note, this is the first time this matchup has occurred in October since 2020--these TV rating-magnet games are usually back loaded on the schedule.)
The Eagles have lost outright as road favorites in NY in 3 of the last 4 years (the exception being the 2022 super bowl year)
If you're braver than me you'll take NYG +140ish to win outright, but I'll play it safe at Giants +3.

Yeah, it’s really hard for me to see this as anything other than a dogfight for the eagles to pull this out. Until they show that they can put together a good all-around performance, I expect very close games against almost anyone. I mean, they barely beat the browns last week and I don’t think the giants are really any worse than them at this time.Eagles haven’t won by more than 14 since their win against Miami last year. I would be somewhat shocked if this is a blowout.
lol at “to his own team”. Didn’t realize things were that bad.Need some shots from Fox on Mara giving Schoen the side-eye on Saquon's TD's.
Jones next passing TD at home...to his own team...would be his first since he signed for $160mm.

Brainwashing. They've sold themselves that RBs aren't important, Daniel Jones is a Top-10 QB and somehow Saquon "betrayed" the Giants. What is wrong with these anti-Barkley fans? Boo your gm
Their former GM used the 2nd overall pick on a RB and the team was mostly not good thereafter. I can see how they would feel that way.Brainwashing. Paying a below average QB $40 million and not paying your star Leader RB who was carrying the O will do that every time.Their former GM used the 2nd overall pick on a RB and the team was mostly not good thereafter. Business decisionwow Hurts went down with NO contact...
This seems to be a theme.Ezudu is proving the Giants coaching staff and front office have no idea how to evaluate OL talent. That dude is a guard not a tackle
Can’t make reads Kelce was making the reads pre snap most of tte timeIs it just good coverage or can Hurts just not make his reads fast enough? Looking horrible so far.
Apparently it was all due to Shane Steichen.... The Iggles were in the Superbowl two years ago, right?
While they still need to address the CB position, they are decent on the defensive side of the ball. This seems to be a theme.Ezudu is proving the Giants coaching staff and front office have no idea how to evaluate OL talent. That dude is a guard not a tackle
