Eagles vs Bucs - Wild Card (-8.5, o/u 45.5) (1 Viewer)

Bucs should win this going away but somehow I feel like it might stay closer and longer than some folks feel.

Georgia was down 18-14 or something about 7:30 minutes left in the 4th and they win 33-18 and the score makes it look like they dominated when actually Bama was ahead for most of the game so I have my doubts about the Bucs just having total control from the start to finish but on paper this does seem like a mismatch and its hard to envision Brady losing or potentially playing his last football game against Jalen Hurts...at some point that young man will have to make a few plays and I'm gambling that he can't do it based on what i saw at Alabama, Oklahoma and Philly.

Bucs 27...Eagles 14

Spread seems a bit high to me. Tampa hasn't been any kind of world beater lately and Eagles seem to match up pretty well. Not sure Eagles win, but I do think they keep it close and very competitive. Could see a late FG deciding this

Early trend bad news for road dogs. Pats blown out and Raiders having to play the Bengals and the Refs. No Fournette or Jones. Brady may throw 50 times in spite of the weather. When Tom Brady throws a lot good things usually happen for his team. Bucs D gets some help back. Eagles will need to control game flow and clock. They are capable given their running game. But I see.....

Bucs- 39

Eagles- 20

Eagles strength is running the ball, Bucs strength stopping the run. Philly has beaten no one and it’s questionable if they deserve to be in the playoffs. Even without 3 of Tom’s top weapons TB proves to be too much.

31-17 Tampa

I've been thinking all week the Eagles could keep this close and win. I'm unwilling to toss a score out there though.....bit superstitious for that this year.

Too many guys hurt for Tampa. I see Philly hanging around. The question will be whether they can make a late play. This is Hurts's game to win or lose with that TB secondary. Taking the under and betting on offensive ineptitude and unfamiliarity. If Tampa does roll, it'll be because they used their TEs effectively (Howard, Brate, Gronkowski)

Tampa - 24

Philly - 17

ugh, huge mistake carving out time so i can watch some of the pre-game for this one. Just got back from  :X  with all of this Brady sucking off. I know most of America hates each other these days, but if there is anything that should get people together it would be rooting against this d-bag who left his pregnant girlfriend.

Eagles 1000

Buc -50

Memories of the last playoff game are flooding my head. That was the last time I got completely drunk (I'm not a big drinker). I was just angry for 2.5 hours after Clowney ended our season.

Today I'm hoping will be a lot more fun.

Not recently.  They’ve been pretty terrible over the last month and a half.  Eagles are averaging almost 200 ypg on the ground.  Biggest issue at this point is that Josh Sweat is out.  He’s our best pass rusher and unless Fletcher can play like vintage Fletcher we may be in for a long day on defense.  Still think the birds get it done tho

Let's Go Eagles!!!

Bold Prediction - Reagor with 100+ all-purpose yards and 0.5 TDs in a close win by the Eagles.

Howawesome would it be for Reagor and the city to make amends with him having a big game and even grabbing the go ahead TD late in the game.

Who has the better day, Vaughn or Bell?
Bell will probably be trusted more based on what I saw the last few weeks and his pass catching ability but I could see Vaughn breaking bigger runs. No AB or Godwin is going to hurt them - especially without Fournette in a playoff game.

honestly would be awesome, would be so happy for the kid and the rough start to his career. love the underdog mentality of Quez though too who has had to fight his way off practice squad and into playing time.

Yeah I get the hate he receives but it’s not his fault Howie skipped Jefferson for him.  Anyways he could mend things with the city with a breakout game today.

ehh, great for the Eagles. Knock Brady on his ### so he can look straight up to the beautiful sun, followed by Sweat's face staring down at him
Sweat ain’t playing bro.

Windy might help the eagles but Hurts is gonna have to throw at some point too.

Lots of money moving on the the Philly side this morning and right up to kick off

-Line is now -7 but the title is fine, you can't keep up with the spreads changing by the minute.

I think Tampa Bay because of their talent will win today but I feel like it might get a little ugly at different points and I expect Philly to fight all the way to the last whistle and I think they can keep it close and perhaps take a lead even into the 3rd Q if the Bucs don't approach this right. The more they hang around the more they are going to believe they can beat a 44 yr old man at QB, this is a game for youth...sort of

I do feel the Bucs will win only because of how I have watched Philly week in and week out up to this point. Hurts would have to grown exponentially in a very short period of time for Philly to walk into Tampa and beat Tom Brady today but stranger things have happened.

I'll cop out and predict Bucs 27...Philly 20 and that would be a push.

Time to pop a cold one and sit back and relax.

Go Bucs!
