Yes it was a White Castle. But did you notice how I actually ate it? I think eating should be an important part of an Eat-Off. I didn't just stuff it in my mouth, turn the camera around and stop filming.
Again, big fan of your work but this isn't apples to apples here. Presentation is a huge factor in this contest but there also has to be some percentage paid to actual substance IMO.

I realize that there are no rules regulating this contest of champions and has largely been left to the honor of the participants and that given the nature of the subject matter it is just tough to literally eat apples-for-apples. Just making sure what we are looking at here. Carry on
Rules? In a knife fight? No rules!

8 years later, 50 pages into it......and the non-voting continues.

FTR, I haven't voted yet either, although I must say I was tempted to pick GM by default after that last attempt to pass off eating a Whitecastle slider as some amazing feat. My 3 yo daughter can outdo that.

He did eat the slider with style though

I love that almost 8 years after this thread began, there's only 1 vote separating GM and shuke

GM (235 votes [50.11%])

shuke (234 votes [49.89%])

It claims that I voted but with all the board upgrades and changes, I can't tell who I voted for without deleting my vote. I'm going to keep it that way.

ALL MY LIKES!

I ate a cheeseburger. He put one in his mouth. That's what I'm looking at.
Not sure how anyone can argue against this logic.

I guess the only solution is to start videoing attempts at eating the same thing. I say "attempt" because I'm not sure GM can handle it.

Maybe I'll "attempt" to disguise myself with ridiculous facial hair for laughs....but generally speaking, I don't need props because I own you.

Ya but will she do it while trash talking to an I-friend, that she may or may not have met IRL, and post it on a random internet board? I think not!

He does have a point. I mean, if GM hadn't started with how this was going to put to rest the question of whether or not he's eating the food, I'd give him a little more leeway here. But it didn't really prove what he intended to prove.

A stronger answer (bigger burger) by shuke might have been a knockout punch. As it is, he didn't fully take advantage of his opening.

The fight is still anyone's to take, IMO.

I took my brother and all his groomsmen to White Castle for lunch the day of his wedding. I said it was my gift to him... and later it would be my gift to her too.

One of the groomsmen had never been before. He ate half a dozen sliders and a side of onion chips.... and literally spent the entire reception on the can.

Apple (Malus domestica). Seeds are mildly poisonous, containing a small amount of amygdalin, a cyanogenic glycoside. The quantity contained is usually not enough to be dangerous to humans, but it is possible to ingest enough seeds to provide a fatal dose.

Oh ####

Going to end up dying for shtick. Hope I at least win this posthumously.

It's been real.
GM has been coasting for a while, meanwhile shuke is DELIVERING.

He is willing to die for our grins.

Vote shuke!

"According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 1-2 mg/kg is a fatal oral dose of cyanide for a 154 lbs. (70 kg) man. You would need to finely chew and eat about 200 apple seeds, or about 20 apple cores, to receive a fatal dose."

So Shuke would have to eat like 700 seeds.

Not sure Shuke "finely chews" his food. More like shoving it down a garbage disposal.
