I would be surprised (albeit pleasantly) if they dropped Lloyd to get Caldwell on the roster.

My guess is they either shuffle Caldwell in and Bodiford out, or put Jansen on IR and use that spot.

They've been saying in DC they need more size and presence at WR - I guess Caldwell might fit that mold. I doubt they drop Lloyd, although he would be absolutely no loss.

Skins were looking to add a receiver after the final roster cuts but had to wait until aftr week 1 so the salary wouldn't be guaranteed. Lloyd is to expensive to cut this season (acceleration of the signing bonus).

If anything, Thrash will move to the #3 and bump Lloyd down the depth chart.
