Reading through this morning's emails, and as usual, Joe gives a bit of wisdom:

Don't sleep on Braylon Edwards in Cleveland. With tight end Kellen Winslow, they make up the best receiving duo most people don't know too much about. Both are physical freaks and both are quickly learning their positions. Look out.
Which leads to the question, where do they rank? IMO, potentially the best TE/WR duo, but I'm not going to put them on par with Fitz/Boldin. Not sure if they're top 3 overall, if every player reaches their potential.

I think from a fantasy perspective, KW obviously has more value because he's a TE, but as a pure pass catcher he's got room to grow. And they have, what, about 15 NFL starts between them so far? We need to make sure teams don't "figure them out" - some teams with more experienced WRs get a bump up in my book.

I did a quick run through the teams in the league and came up with 10 teams I thought were clearly better receivers right now in terms of overall ability (Az,Car, Cin, Dal, Den, Hou, Ind, NYG, Sea, Stl). As those two get more experience, they may move up on the list, but for right now, 11-15 is generous.

Let's see. How many total games have they played together? 3? 4? Did they play in the same game prior to this year? Yeah, I can see how it would be easy to conclude at this point that these two guys are the best WR/TE combo in the league. Better yet, let's start carving conjoined busts of these two in Canton....

As far as tallent, they have to be considered in the TOP 10, I would say even TOP 5. They have only had 3 games together and by seasons end I think they will rank in the TOP 10, however at this point you can not just put them in the TOP 10 on tallent alone. People who sleep on these two will be sorry come seasons end. If you have either of them or even both, they are must starts from here on out.

Winslow will end up TOP 5 at the TE position this year and Edwards is going to be and has been to this point a quality #2 WR. I can see him finishing in the TOP 15 this year.

Yourself and I will be hoping for that. I traded a #4 2006 rookie pick in dynasty to acquire him (looks good so far). Lendale White was picked at 4, I grabbed Maroney at 6. Not that you care, just babbling.

In terms of ceiling, they are top 5 or maybe even top 3. They both are rare talents. In terms of where they are now, I'm thinking 11-15 is generous. They are young and will get much better in a year or two.
