It was obvious after 2 weeks that the replacement refs had no idea on what was illegal contact/holding and what wasn't. Receivers were consistently getting mugged and held all over the field and as a result I think pass happy teams like the packers, eagles, saints, and lions have been struggling as a result.

I think players from those teams get a bump from the return of the regular refs. If you've got a chance to trade for rodgers/stafford (or even vick) I'd definitely buy low at the moment. Also expecting luck to step up his production even further.

I was thinking this too as a reason for why QBs have struggled early.
