Looks pretty nifty. It wasn't going to take long for the REO model to be closely duplicated and mass marketed. With every month that goes by vaping technology and manufacturing will develop and expand, first with improvements on the current technology and eventually with break-throughs that make the process easier, more convenient and more efficient. I'm already $500 in the red from buying hardware and juice. With a REO I don't see a need to buy anything else until something revolutionary comes along--I need to resist any urges to try new stuff out so my decision to switch to vaping can start saving me money in the long run.

With that said, just based on the look and price of this product, it looks like it could be a very solid option.

Just made my first batch of trogg's pomegranate e-juice 5ml 12mg nic 70/30 VG/PG

I only did about 10% flavor. With this flavor I could see using a little bit more going maybe 15-20% The vapor is awesome 10/10. A mild throat hit probably 6\10 The flavor is little weak but its still good 6\10. I'll probably add a few more drops to it. I could vape this stuff all day. I thought I might need some sweetener, but this flavor really doesn't need it.

Per some of the tips, I'm going to try and make a little juice of each flavor before I start mixing. When I first bought this I had a tobacco pomegranate cola flavor in mind.

This was much easier than I expected. I think with the flavors I've got I can probably make about 300ml of juice for only around 30 bucks.

 Help me with the TH thing... If you mixed 80/20 or 90/10 would that help?

If I increased the PG from 30% to something more like 70% that would help the throat hit. It would probably increase the flavor too since it is supposed to enhance the flavor.

Hiya folks, haven't checked in for a while...

Was walking the dog, and noticed two good lookin babes getting into their vehicle. They drove off and there it was... a half full pack of M'boros, just dropped, and sitting there waiting for a match to ignite them. For a moment, I was tempted. I started to think "Heck, maybe I should just try one, take a puff, see what's what."

I walked past it, that night, and again tonight. Still, I find it tempting. Almost 3 months without a cig, and it still has power. Yet I didn't step on the pack and break them.... it's like playing chicken.

I know it's that first puff that could do me in. I know some of you have "dipped", but I know I can't. I hope it rains tonight.... LOL.

There's a dare you really wanna win, Rovers! Good job, and on the three months too--you're too far to fail, here! I'm at three weeks today myself, not counting the first week working into it, and had a test of my own last night...I'm eagerly anticipating my recent order of juices and accessories to reassemble the eGo-T the way I want with LR atomizers. Slowest I've seen them on a delivery. :(

Meanwhile a friend at work has to quit (doctors orders) and is desperate for the shipment as well. I promised to set her up with this delivery. So, she and I are sitting in the smoking area and she asks to try vaping on my Cisco LR for awhile. I show her how it works, and hand it over, coaching all the while. Meanwhile she hands me her lit Marlboro to hold onto.

Guess I held onto it for three minutes before realizing she wasn't wanting it back--was real careful to hold it like an ecig so I wouldn't do an automatic on it! Stubbed it out instead!

Damn I can't wait for that delivery....

I smoked a cigarette last night. Another from the pack I bought on 2/2 and is still half full. Clearly, they're stale now, but I don't care.It reminded me of smoking in my mom's garage when I was 16. tasted weird, gave me a head rush, made me a little nauseous. It was a glorious trip down memory lane. Then, I went inside and washed my hands and face several times with the most powerfully scented chick soap my wife has, then brushed my teeth and gargled with Listerine for about 3 minutes. Still took an hour or two to get rid of the stink/taste entirely.

My one main issue is it turned out way too thick, even with the PG. O think I need to cut it with some distiller water. I made my pomegranate cola and the flavor was good, but still too thick. On the hand, you were absolutely right about me not touching my 808s since I got my REO. The only time I used them was one day I left my spare battery at work and I had to recharge the battery I was using.

Approaching 3 months as well, and had a pretty strong nic fit last night. What a horrible, horrible habit that is...

I'm having problems with the REO. My first atomizer just died. I'm strictly vaping Boba's. A fresh atomozer pulls nicely, but then starts getting stickier and harder to pull. Then it dies. My second one is on the same path right now.

They also get a kind of burning taste that I can't avoid. Even after a fresh sparge. I know there is a lot of juice in there.

Any tips would be appreciated.

If you get a burning taste even when the atomizer is wet, it probably needs a cleaning. I bought an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner for this purpose, but you can get a similar effect by blowing out the atty, rinsing it with hot water, then soaking it in either vodka, Everclear, isopropyl alcohol, or white vinegar for several hours, agitating occasionally. Then let it dry overnight. Should wipe any trace of flavor out of it. My brother had an atomizer die on him after 1 day, mine have all lasted at least 4 weeks thus far, it's touch and go with atomizers. Are you using Cisco 306s?Some people have reported having issues vaping really thick juices like Boba's through the Grand just because it gunks up the atomizers so fast, but I haven't really had any such issues thus far.

I mostly vape bobas on 2 ohm LR atty. What's ohms are you using? I had a problem with my first atty etting clogged after three days. I cleaned with hot water and it took what seemed like forever to get it going again. It had a bad burnt taste and id have to flood it to get any juice flavor. I finaly just kept dry burning untill it was gone. Since then I make a point to blow out my attys a couple times a day. I blow out all the juice wipe the threads and the catch cup. I put it back on and take a couple hits without inhaling. Then I do a couple dry burns. I haven't had any problems since I started doing this.

Got any tiny drill bits? If so you can bore out those two holes on the battery-end of the atomizer. I believe something like 1/32 or 1/16 should work. That'll help with the air flow.

Good stuff here! I'd forgotten the details of atomizer cleaning and couldn't find them when I scanned through--got one of the 306's down now.

Just received the LR's for the eGo-T--GREAT!! Picked up parts and pieces enough to setup for a friend too, and may have two converts on board.

Bloog just emailed me that they're running a special for an unspecified period of time -- 5 Fusion cartridges for $4.99. According to them, they will work in the MaxxFusion batteries.

The Magic Carto

I've had this Cool Carts Peppermint Ice Cream carto for what seems like a week now. You just can't kill it. It's still hitting nice with no burnt taste. Tonight is gonna be one of my rare "blast away" nights. G/F is out of town, so it's just me and Mr. Bushmills.

 I really like the peppermint ice cream flavor also. Surprised me since I did not like menthol at all, but really not comparable to menthol.

Not a menthol fan either so took a 'halfstep'--Chocolate Mint is an excellent blend and the flavors complement each other really well.

Ive also found that I am not "smoking" as much as I did with real cigs, because I can take a puff or 2 here and there when I feel I need to and put it in my pocket, rather than smoking a whole cigarette.
Scanned the first page again after the poll thread and caught this comment...The other day I was absent-mindedly taking a draw off the eGo while talking with some folks, and then dropped it into my shirt pocket. You should have seen the  !! A couple of the folks didn't realize what I was up to--and thought I was about to torch my shirt! :lmao:

Just ordered some Ikenvape Cartos

V4L also has new diamond series batteries. I asked what the difference was between them and the ones theyve had on their site for months, and the repsonse I got from Dohsma was "The post issue has been fixed, and the battery cell used is also improved. Overall I would say that they are more reliable."

They also added some new colors, including Black Matte.

26% off batteries right now (May 9th and 10th), code: BatteryBlitz

Any idea if new diamond series will ever become available in manual? Gotta say, I've turned into one of those 'manual battery snobs' you see on the V4L forum. I'll never buy an automatic again. My manual batties have just been so much better performers than the autos I started with. I swear each of the 3 manual XL batteries I rotate hit harder than my USB (while oddly not burning out cartos as quickly as USB). Ever since day 1, just pure snap/crackle/pop right away when I hit the button.

Thanks guys

Got my first e-cig yesterday. 1100mah eGo battery with a dual coil cartomizer. Haven't smoked or really wanted to smoke a Marlboro so far. Now that I know this is a viable replacement for cigs, time to start researching liquids and figure out the ones I like the best.

You enjoy that big box of beers with a lot of Russian River beers that I sent you several years back. Never go the return fire, homie.

Great to hear that, Mello! Welcome to the club and Good luck. I know it isn't always easy.

I just de-wicked my attys. So far so good. Had a new 306 atty that wouldn't screw on all the way and damaged the outside with some pliers. I hope that doesn't cause problems. I damaged another 306 when I dropped my Reo. It looks like it might still work. The column came off the battery end. I just put it back together. I cleaned it and its firing but didn't get real hot. I hope that's just because it was still wet.

It seems many de-wick right away, but I've been waiting until I detect a burning or metallic taste. Those that I have de-wicked are still working pretty well but there seems to be a slight drop in performance after about 10 days. Every atty is different.

It seems many de-wick right away, but I've been waiting until I detect a burning or metallic taste. Those that I have de-wicked are still working pretty well but there seems to be a slight drop in performance after about 10 days. Every atty is different.
de-wick...you mean like--totally? Seems like that would work more like a mini-tank. I had heard of pulling the wick up a little and was considering it with one of the Cisco LR306's; also have another which might have burned out.

I just de-wicked my attys. So far so good. Had a new 306 atty that wouldn't screw on all the way and damaged the outside with some pliers. I hope that doesn't cause problems. I just pulled the wick out from under the bridge. There is a wick around the coil I don't think you want to remove.

Same here. I got 4 Bloog batteries a month or so ago that I sometimes use with WOW cartos and they just don't work as good. I LIKE pushing the button on my XL batteries and the hit is soooo much stronger and the vapor is much better.

Maybe it's just the Bloogs don't work well with the WOW cartos, I don't know. But, for me, I'll never buy another auto battery again.

Thanks guys  Got my first e-cig yesterday. 1100mah eGo battery with a dual coil cartomizer. Haven't smoked or really wanted to smoke a Marlboro so far. Now that I know this is a viable replacement for cigs, time to start researching liquids and figure out the ones I like the best.
Awesome! Another convert!
:hifive:
You enjoy that big box of beers with a lot of Russian River beers that I sent you several years back. Never go the return fire, homie.
When I sent a round of Kuhnhenn Rasp Eisbocks out, you didnt get one? I thought I sent one your way, along with Bakes and a couple others...

I just bought another Buzz from Notcigs. EXtrtemely happy with my first one, and feel no need to grope around for another PV, this one rocks my socks.

Cinammon roll from V4L ius a winner too.

V4L just isn't doing it for me. The cartos are a real pain in the ### IMO. Not just the refilling, but to me they're entirely inconsistent. One will hit like a champ, one will suck. Some seem to go through juice super fast, others last forever. Just not liking this.

So I grabbed a Reo from today's batch. Still well within my 45 days on the V4L order, I figured it would be best to get out now while I can still get my money back on the batteries, and I can presumably keep using the juice in the Reo. So at least I'm not out anything.

:thumbup:Hopefully the Reo will work better for ya.
