Waffle was my 1st TV juice (24mg), and the first week I had it I blazed through about 75% of it. Ive had the rest for a couple months now, and I still love it, but Im stuck on V4L's Apple WOW juice almost exclusively. Theres nothing quite like a fresh blank cart filled with TV Waffle though. I think youll like it.

Like I said, I don't see the nic level as an issue, the bottom line is to stave off the urge to smoke an analog, and for now, 36 mg's does that for me. It isn't even hard to stay away from tobacco anymore for me. Vaping cures any urges I get. WhenI smell cig smoke now, it's starting to make me revulse, so I see that as a good sign. I figure at least another month at 36, then try to reduce. I'm in no rush.

I'm curious--how many folks' favorite flavors are the ones they started with? That kinda seems natural to me, since it would be what brought people to the party. Mine still are the Cappacino and Dulce de Leche I got with my first eGo-T order from VaporPro. Wicked Vapors flavors.

As noted previously, I still haven't entirely quit cigs but I find myself not getting all the way through the morning one now. I can foresee the day when I just won't want to be bothered with them.

My de-wicked 306 just stopped working. It has been my best atty. I was doing a couple dry burns to get a bad root beer flavor out and it just died. I don't know if it was the juice, the dry burn, or the de-wicked or a combination. It was by far my favorite. I feel so sad like I just lost a best friend. I guess with my next one I'll wait to de-wick. My only issue is that I think one of the reasons I liked it so much was because it was de-wicked. I guess this is part of the trial and error of this new lifestyle.

Probably the dry burn. My brother trashed 2 Cisco 306s last night on 6-7 second dry burns. Best bet is to clean them with isopropyl alcohol/vodka in a jewelry cleaner and let them air dry.'trogg78 said:

I never hold it that long. I'll burn it in 3 sec intervals until it gets red fast and then pump it for a second at a time. Since I had de wicked it I never had to clean it since blowing it out pretty much removed all the leftover juice. In the 10 days it never got a burnt taste until the root beer. I'm probably going to de-wick my next 306, but if it does get a bad taste I'll clean instead of doing the dry burn. I dry burn my 510s a lot and never had this problem. the 306s seem like I need to be a lot more careful because I've never lost a 510, but have already lost my second 306.

Y'all seem to be doing a whole lot more cleaning than I am with the tanks or 306's--is it different for them or am I missing something?
I've tried to never dry burn. There's a vape or two when changing flavors when they mix a touch but that hasn't bugged me; maybe my tastebuds are just shot! Every second or third tankful I'll take a paper towel and scrunch it up to wipe out the connections both ends of the atomizer, and maybe blow it out if it's gurgling. The LR seems to need that more often but I'm also using it more except when driving with the passthrough*.
Same with the 306's mostly--maybe once every couple days blow it out (only keep one in use and mostly using the tanks anyway). I did burn out one of the 306's I think, but then dewicked and it's been ok so maybe it's the other one.
I saw waaaay earlier in the thread a method where you boil water, insert an addy in a turkey baster both directions and plunge it out a few times--I've been doing that process about every other week with all of them, then blowing it out and putting it right back into use.
Seems to be working ok--but am I way off base here? It could be that I'm losing some potential vapor all the time, just not knowing how it could be...
*re: the passthrough--I caught the warning against using it with an LR when hooked up to a computer, because it would draw too many amps. I've accidently used it--briefly--in the car with an LR before realizing what I was doing so I'm doing that with the standard eGo-T as well. Would that be a different situation, powering it with the cigaret lighter connection?

I think the main concern would be with destroying the atty. I've never used an atty with a pass thru so I really couldn't say from experience.

Happy. Just got my 2 new Bloog batts in the mail today. I rushed to see if they worked with my Ikenvape kr cartos which didn't work with my v4l batts and BANG, they do! I'll probably be getting by tastyvapor juices in tomorrow. Can't wait! I've been using by 4v4l cartos since Feb and, while they did the trick, were getting kind of old. New life baby!!!!

I have stopped cleaning cartos. I find I can use an Ikenvape mega for three days (vaping pretty heavilly) just topping it off. Darker juices, maybe a half a day less. At a buck fifty... I can deal with just tossing them. Maybe I just remember that a pack costs 10 bucks in NY, and I figure I'm saving ridiculous amounts of money.
I'm settled into a routine now. I vape about 5 flavors. I use the Ikenvape higher resistance cartos, and am quite content. Soon, I'll have to try lowering from 36 mg's it's so freakin easy now to forget I even smoked tobacco.
Today it occurred to me again... I actually quit smoking, the last person that ever could. I'll NEVER go back.

That's how I've been feeling, even ready to bring in some zero nic juices on a situational basis (in the truck to start--I'm doing 60-100 miles per day and already had quit smoking in vehicles years ago). Somehow after 42 years and all the tries this seems too easy, but I'm with you both on the routine and the comfort level. Glad to hear it for you and congrats. I'm trying to not get too cocky rushing things, but feeling really good about this stuff! 
I do see where it could become its own habit, but that's not so bad either. It'll be no nic, though, dammit!

Gotta say this in general: For years I've felt and said that these forums are the first place I go for info and advice, for encouragement and argument, for help and support. Folks at work, and even my wife, when they need information on some project or problem, have sent me to Footballguys. And when there's just news to keep up with this place is faster than any of the syndicates.

Just the other day I sent a message to someone about some financial advice and he recommended a couple of books to me. After reading one I've decided to change my financial strategy a bit. Ya know, although my intent was and remains to stop vaping as well at some point, it's still soooo far better than using tobacco... if I can't stop vaping it won't be the end of the world. A small setback and falling somewhat short of my goal, but surely far better than hacking and coughing so much I sometimes puked while on tobacco. With a new job, plenty of stress, Im just not going to add to the stress level right now. I feel so much better, and I can AFFORD this, unlike cigs, I have no dealine, no self induced pressure any more. I'll know when I'm ready to reduce the nic levels....Having said that, I admit to having SERIOUS nicotine urges. If I go too long without vaping, I feel it physically. I'm still very addicted to nicotine. The urges are as strong as they ever were for a cig when I previously tried to quit, but now it's the urge to vape, not smoke. Cig smoke smells pretty bad to me now. Vaping removes the urges, urges that still remain VERY strong. But lighting up another cig, ever... is not an option.Simple process. No muss no fuss. Done.

He's a pretty easy sell. I ordered the basic Bloog kit with the non tobacco sampler and five five packs of other juices including 5 blanks and the tobacco sampler. So I would like to add some juice for the five blanks and call it a great brotherly gift.
Suggestions for the blank juices? He's getting every non tobacco flavor Bloog offers.

That's one hell of a "brotherly gift". Sounds like he'll be set for a while. I'm a little concerned that you decided to go with 36mg for all the juice though. When I got my starter kit, I opted for the 36mg with mine and it knocked my socks off. I could only take quick, shallow drags or else I was coughing my lungs out. The same day I got my kit, I ordered more juice/cartos at both 18 & 24mg strengths. I milked the 36's until they arrived. Then again, that's coming from a guy who averaged a pack & and half of Malboro Lights a day. 
If you're planning on getting more juice anyway, do him a favor and go with a lower nic strength there. Give him the chance to see the difference right out of the gate. As far a juice goes, Boba's Bounty and Gorilla Juice from Alien Visions both come highly recommended, however, they are in the process of relocating and won't be accepting orders for another week. Lately, I've been really digging Casablanca Blend and Cafe Mocha from Backwoods Brew. Those are a few of my favs... I'll let some others throw out some suggestions too.

If you enjoyed smoking, and truely miss lighting up, you may find vaping very satisfying.

Well I don't know what kind of customer service to expect from Bloog, but I assume it isn't too late, holiday weekend and all, to get them to mix up the nicotine levels before shipping. I will try. He is a legit two pack a day full strength Marlboro smoker who enjoys some harsh euro filterless when he has the money and gets to a quality smoke shop. I think he sounds more like Rovers than anyone else here so that is why I went with the 36ers.

Backwoods Brew and Alien Visions are the only two vendors I order from now (though I've heard a lot good things about Vaperite and will give them a try when I run low). BWB and AVE provide the best quality I've tried. I like rotating between the BWB PG/VG blends and the AVE VG Bobas/Gorilla Juice. A good balance to prevent tiring of either.I have some Casablanca that I'm letting steep and looking forward to trying. I'm hitting Malty Toffee, Vanilla Bean and Applewood a ton. You may be alright then, unless Bloog allows you to tweek the strengths you already ordered. Sounds like a mixture of 24 & 36 would be good place to start for him.

Only juices I know come from Wicked Vapor and V4L. The Wicked Vapors remain my favorites after getting them with the eGo-T from VaporPro.
What's the VG-PG mix on either of those? I've been having trouble lately with the tanks bleeding through the attys and wonder if the V4L juice is too thin?
I'm known as a huge coffee drinker (along with water and beer). Got a mug I carry on my belt at work. Coffee's not tasting so good lately--been filling it more with water.
Also getting a sweet tooth. Still not enough maybe since I've historically not eaten enough sugar--but sodas are more appealing and I had long given them up.
My recycle system has gone haywire on this stuff. Used to be real regular but now it's gotten more frequent and loose. I'm afraid to even pass gas.
Sense of smell is coming back a little but expect it will be months before I really get it back. Taste remains the same but folks always like my cooking so that's ok.
Don't think this will remain a hobby for me though that would be ok too--I'm just not so excited about it to experiment with the mods.
Amazing that this has worked so well with a helluva lotta stress around here.
Memorial Day used to mark my annual pig pickin. Ready for another to celebrate two months smoke free!

Man, am I a cheapo. V4L has had 2 sales in the past week (10%+SH, 21%) and I passed... wating for the next V4L Family uber sale to stock up. Definitely on my buy list is more Premium Capuccino juice... I got a bottle of WOW Capuccino with my last purchase and am pretty surprised how less robust it is. It's like Capuccino-lite IMHO for both flavor and TH. Just not much there. I'm also buying another wall charger since I've been scrambling a bit to rotate batties onto the single charger (not to mention nearly left my charger at the cabin last weekend).
I'm really appreciating the ability to ecig at the family cabin... stealth smoking was a huge hassle the past couple years with the smell of smoke just hoovering in our lot. Old habits die hard, so I struggled a bit being up there alone 3 weekends ago opening up the place for the summer. But with family up there the past 2 weekends, it's night and day better. Me and my bro played cards with the wives last weekend and I stepped outside to mix a drink in the bunkhouse and had several pulls and sat back at the table moments later with neither wife the wiser. Heck, even my brother asked to take a few pulls at various times (he still sneaks cigs up there using cigars as a mask whenever he has an opening). I've intentionally resisted pushing it on him, but seems he's starting to recognize the convenience on his own.

3. Had to buy some cigarettes.
4. Ordered a Silver Bullet but it came in DOA. Had to send it back.
5. Currently smoking a cigarette while waiting for both mods to come back in the mail.

I'm sorry to hear that. If there is a lesson to be learned, you can never have enough backups. You need a back up for your backup.... And probably a backup for that too!

I mentioned one of my V4L manuals is on the fritz... a second one now makes me press the button real hard to activate. So, down to 1 great manual, 1 decent auto, one iffy but functioning manual. I'm definitely planning on getting 2-3 more XL manuals next time they have a decent sale. Don't want to wind up desparate, although I will always have the USB PT.

The passthrough is my fallback too--do they burn out? I've got it set up for vaping off the computer, off the auto lighter, off an electrical outlet. I've been planning to do a safety net order first of next month when I seriously stock up on some juices. I've got the two original eGo batts along with the PT; the two original tank attys, one LR tank which has been kinda frustrating the way it clogs, and those two LR306's that have actually been the most consistent!
Thought of adding another LR eGo since I gave one away, but it sure seems to be destroying the tanks--the juices keep bleeding through and flooding it out. Too thin? I'm mostly using the V4L juices, saving the two Wicked Vapors for home use.

Well, you freaked me out enough that I settled for the 12%+SH V4L sale.
Actually ended up just getting another XL Manual starter kit since I was looking to buy a 2nd charger anyway, and it's good opportunity to upgrade from auto to manual USB PT and get 5 cartomizers thrown in to boot (trying out Irish Cream). So I guess my testimonial to V4L XL Manual sterter kits is official now, since I'm getting a 2nd.Maybe I'll get a Reo mini to go with the grand.

I'm having a real problem lately with juices soaking from the tanks into the atomizers. Dunno if it's more a result of the LR eGo-ts pulling through harder or something else, but those tanks aren't lasting anywhere near what they did--sometimes failing after the first fillup. And all my atomizers are getting juiced up at least once/day. Any ideas? Is this something that happens with carts as well?
On a side note, I figured out yesterday how to blow them out with the compressor; seems to work really well. Until the next tank bleeds through.

OK, filled up a tank on the LR eGo yesterday with one of my favorite juices and it immediately bled through. Been using the Cisco LR306 since--which is consistent, but not how I'd prefer to vape. Earlier this morning figured on trying the tank even though it showed empty, with all the juice in the LR atty.
That's actually been workable for a few hours! Not the best fer shoor, but it's like the eliquid all soaked into the atty, and I figured WTH and treated it like the Cisco LR. Trying to figure this out because it's working--as far as not smoking goes (I did do the tail end of a cigar this morning). Are these tanks just not what they're made out to be? I like the theory, and after 8 weeks suppose I can't complain to much--but what's the best move from here?
My goal is to quit altogether, and not get into another habit if I can help it....

Really wish I could help but you're speaking another language with these eGo tank issues. Have you tried the ECF forums?

Completely by accident, I started vaping zero nic over the holiday weekend. I didn't even notice the change until I went through a full 6ml bottle on my REO and needed to refill. I couldn't believe it. So, I refilled with another 6ml of no nic juice and after another 3 days, I still haven't finished it. In fact, I didn't even pick up my pv all day yesterday. 
Just don't need it.
I'm gonna continue to try to go without and see how it goes. I may have just kicked my nicotine habit for good. I'm really surprised, however, how easy I found it to stop vaping at the same time. It wasn't in the plan as I anticipated vaping for a while after eliminating the nicotine.
A pack and half a day to nothing in a easy 4 and a half months!

I'm using the eGo also, and I have no clue what you're referring to either. I can't picture it. There isn't remotely enough room (in mine at least (Type B)) for 'all the juice' to fit in there. I've heard of some leaking, but only if the wick is removed. Have you tried adjusting that?

I've been excited, anticipating today when I place an order for juices--including some no nic just for S&G's. Seems incredible to even think about that after 42 years of smoking and just 8+ weeks of vaping--but you've just confirmed that it's definitely possible. I've noticed for myself that even the ecigs aren't as appealing--and real ones not at all.

Good call. It appears I need to order silicone replacement caps for the tanks. I'm looking for a vendor I trust now...BroadwayG--I wouldn't even know where to find a wick on the eGo atomizers! By "all the juice", I mean that after just a few hits on a refilled type A tank I look and there's zero left in the tank. I got ticked off and tried to keep vaping off that tank anyway--and went on that way for 2-3 hours, getting as much vapor as before. Actually had the issue more with the LR, which seems to clog up really quickly. The hole punched out definitely looks larger, so it made sense that it might have loosened up after multiple refills.Really wish I could help but you're speaking another language with these eGo tank issues. When I then refilled the tank, it disappeared really quickly again, and again was still vapable for quite some time. Before that--when I first noticed the tank empty, I immediately refilled it and had juice slopping out all over the place. Now it at least doesn't do that, so even without the silicone tips I can maintain the habit until they arrive.
