*emergency!* help in here - a/c thread (1 Viewer)

this might be a ######ed idea, and it might get squashed by the powers that be, as there's already an a/c forum, but I've kind of forgotten to check the a/c forum and maybe others have too.

that clorox guy made me think maybe we could have this thread as basically an a/c thread but just for pick ups and match ups over the stretch run and into the playoffs.

I think those kind of questions might have some value to a variety of readers, and I find that a lot of the time answering them gets me to think more about guys I may have overlooked -- you can keep the wdis stuff in the a/c forum, though, as nobody cares about that.

I very much appreciate the initiative on this, but I'm reluctant to make it a regular thing.

I fully understand that the IDP AC Forum seems to get less traffic than the Siberian tundra, but I still think it's a necessary adjunct. Shortly before we made the split, 60-70% of the Forum topics were team advice requests and many of the threads that started out as information and discussion evolved into advice requests, too.

This forum is for you guys (and gals) so I'm willing to listen to discussion, but I'd be wary of turning back the clock.

haha,,,I totally understand, and don't want to track mud around somebody else's house, but that's kind of why I thought we could have a thread dedicated to it -- to keep it contained.

btw, I probably need to pick up a db in a league where about 25-30 are owned if anybody has any suggestions......

No worries. There were a handful of us who had a similar weekly thread years ago but folks found it hard to navigate through the posts to find responses to their question once the thread got a little longer. I don't think there's ever been a great answer to the problem unfortunately.Let's see what develops.

I picked the wrong jets safety (bell) vs the pats -- any insight which mia s would be a better play?my understanding is that wayne gets moved around, and plays slot in 3 wide, which you'd think they'd use a fair bit @det --- how is chris houston used, will he follow reggie around and play slot at all?seems like that'd be a great match up if he does.does richard sherman play a side, or will he follow marshall, or would it be browner?tia

I don't have any insight, but looks like he's probable.problem is, steelers offense kind of sux, and he didn't seem all that productive against them last time.I'd have to wonder what kind of drives batch can put together.

For DB pickups, you might see if Keenan Lewis or maybe Biggers, McCray, Sanford, Gomes, or Whitner are around, they are all available in my 2CB/2S starting, 40 man roster dyno, so some of them should be available for you. Also see if Polamalu is available?I'd go with Clemons if you want a mia safety, and iirc Sherman/Browner play their own side and don't follow recievers. No idea on HoustonHTH
