Ending 2012 draft rumors (1 Viewer)

It's silly season. There's more mis-information floating around that truth, so I'm calling on all FBGs to post the facts.

For my Browns, you can forget Tannehill or Blackmon at #4. The people in charge do not take WRs that high. Neither are they likely to gamble on a QB who doesn't have a complete pedigree.

I am wondering about the Dolphins. Will a Miami local please tell me if they will indeed take T'hill at 8? It seems to me that they got decent play at QB last year and would be better served taking another position.

Any other rumors that are just wrong?

Not a Browns homer, but I might as well have been after my big investment in Greg Little last year and I'll agree with the Blackmon nonsense. Little is Holmgren's pet project.

maybe im just a dope but there's no way Trent Richardson is worth a 4 pick.

He certainly didn't run the 4.3 that Adrian Peterson busted out when he went 7 OVERALL, 3 slots lower than the Browns pick at 4.

lets also not forget he had knee surgery. Yeah I know it wasn't major. GUess what every surgical procedure during the spring before draft is major.

serious question what's the last top 10 drafted RB to meet expectations? AD who just blew his knee out? DMac who is always hurt? it's not a rhetorical question you can get RB everywhere.

also Greg Little isn't reason enough to hold at WR. they have no one else. MoMass? Cribbs? seriously that cupboard is bare. likewise McCoy isn't reason enough to hold at QB. He stinks.

The Vikes will not trade down. They will take Kalil (sp?)
^ This. And while you're at it, can you tell all the rubes on local Vikings chat boards, for the 10,000th time, that they will NOT be drafting WR Blackmon at 1.03? TYIA.

If "the people in charge" drafted a player at a different position every year for 15 years they still wouldn't have exhausted all the positions available to them to draft. So the rumor I'd like to dispel is that just because a team hasn't drafted a player at a particular position recently, doesn't mean they won't go in that direction this year. If anything, it makes it more likely that they will, since the cupboard is likely quite bare at that position they've been neglecting in the draft.

Matt who do you see the Browns taking at 4 if they don't move out of the spot, Blackmon?I really think Richardson is the pick.Look at who went to see Richardson's pro day from the browns and who went to Tannehills pro day.The big boys went to see Richardson.

You're saying "they haven't" and I'm saying "they don't". Fair enough, but I'm sticking to my guns on this one. They have a definite way of doing things and they stick with it. See Philly.
