Eric Moulds is a great sleeper (1 Viewer)

900 & 7 TDs is a typical Moulds year, I wouldn't really consider that surprising... except for the fact that he's a Texan now.

I grabbed Moulds in the late rounds as my WR6, I expect him to be a possible bye week filler. Anything more would be great. I figured there is an outside possibilty he ends up option 1, and worth a gamble.

The Texans passing game will be as good as their pass protection. In recent years, that has not been one of their strengths.

From what i can tell from online stuff (nfl.com gamebooks, ourlads), Moulds is playing flanker/Z. generally the better position to be playing in terms of defense, plays, looks, etc.

While that's definitely true, the running game for the Texans, another result of a good line, has to be in question as well with Dom Davis gone for the year.....

nope, disagree, they missed Davis many games last year and every single guy they put back there ended up with very good numbers including Jonathan Wells and Morency. From the sounds of it Lundy is probably a little bit better than Morency and don't forget Dayne might have an impact as well in terms of goal line or picking up the slack when,,,when,,,when one of the other becomes injured. I look for Carr to have a rebirth this year thanks to Moulds creating balance in the passing game. Moulds is a fantastic posession WR that can be THE go to guy in HOU. A Johnson has been an inconsistent little POS with supposedly all the talent in the world for the last few years and this year I think Moulds numbers will be pretty good. What does it do for AJ? I think Moulds probably helps AJ's productioin but it wouldn't suprise me if Carr starts relying on Moulds so much that he becomes the WR1 since he makes the plays and doesn't drop the ball.

If David Carr is the QB, Moulds will not be that good.

If Sage Rosenfels takes over the starting QB position, Moulds will have much more value.

If you watch the flow of the offense, it just runs better with Sage.

Carr is still Carr and will kill a lot of drives with his indecision and throws in the dirt.

How would you all compare Moulds with Amani Toomer?

Toomer seems like the 3rd or 4th option but in a great offensive system. While Moulds seems like the #2 option in a lousy system.

Toss up? Edge to Moulds?

Moulds easily, and I've always liked Toomer. Moulds may be the #1 in a lousy system, BTW. (Once he gets some raport with Carr.)

I would give the edge to Moulds over Toomer - the Texans have an offensive minded coach now who may find himself in shootouts due to the poor defense this team carries with it. Given that the Giants schedule is brutal and they have a better defense, expect Coughlin to play field position and ball control at times - which in my opinion, will reduce Toomer's chances. Now, one could argue that the Texans lack of a running game will prevent Moulds from getting the one-on-one looks that Toomer would see given the other NYG options. I would expect that being able to take one from the box will put the double coverage on Andre Johnson, not Moulds.

Moulds is MUCH more than a possession WR.Also, Neither Lundy, nor Morency, nor Gado are half the complete RB of Dom Davis, IMO.
