Last year I believe he always wasn't playing all 3 downs. This year he is on the field all the time. Should put up better numbers. He jumped week 1 last year too. This is starting to worry me.Dave Schwartz @Dave_SchwartzVikings report that LB Erin Henderson once again did not participate in practice today because of his concussion. This was posted on Twitter like 13 mins ago.
They are just easing Henderson back in. He'll be the ED player again.'johnnyboy8102 said:Brinkley is going to be the every down guy now w/ Henderson coming out in the nickel.Edit:Henderson played just 22 snaps while Brinkley played all 74.

Leslie Frazier strongly suggested Monday that Jasper Brinkley will remain at middle linebacker in obvious passing situations, even though the guy who typically handles that job, Erin Henderson, has recovered from his concussion."The way Jasper is playing," Frazier said, "it's hard to take him off the field in nickel situations."
The opposite was said only a couple days ago. I don't see it. Henderson is better in coverage and played well before getting hurt.http://www.startribune.com/sports/vikings/173217831.html?refer=yThey are just easing Henderson back in. Pretty much traded a late 1st for him since I'm in a good situation, this is not the news I wanted to hearThe opposite was said only a couple days ago. I don't see it. Brinkley is not one to maintain his health during a season anyway, now might be a good time to buy Erinditto- that stinks if true.
Henderson played 36 snaps with Brinkley at 59. Truly pathetic. Not sure what the coaches see here.Does anybody know about his snap count compared to Brinkley? He seemed to be on the field pretty regularly last week. Arizona's matchup is a tasty one. I want to start Henderson.
A loss? :dunno:'Whitney26 said:Henderson played 36 snaps with Brinkley at 59. Truly pathetic. You shouldn't be starting him until he's made an every-down LB once again. I just hope that day comes again, and soon...Erin Henderson is worthless at this point. He has like 6 tackles in 2 games. Just killing me here.![]()
Or last week....Oof, Jasper Brinkley doesn't look that great tonight.
Just in time for owners to start him and reap the rewards. 3 tackles and a PD? lol...and the Vikings have a week 11 bye.Man, at least there's hope for those of us stubborn/foolish enough to hold on to him.'MindCrime said:From early in the game1500ESPNJudd: Erin Henderson is remaining on the field in the nickel and Brinkley is coming off.
