This question is for anyone who watched the Min/Jax game. How did Henderson look on film. His stat line was good, did his play back it up

He jumped week 1 last year too. I like his opportunity this year but consistency will bea problem w Greenway around.

Last year I believe he always wasn't playing all 3 downs. This year he is on the field all the time. Should put up better numbers.

Took a chance on Henderson in waivers this week. I almost drafted him late, but went another direction. Now I'm starting him with Butler and T.J. Smith and hoping that I have a real nice LB corps.

Henderson is playing well. Always around the ball. I saw the Jags game in person and watched the Colts game as well... he simply has something that no one else on that D has, including Greenway.

I go back to last year when I believe he bumped Jimmy Graham as he tried to dunk over the FG bar. There's an attitude there, an edge that the Vikes need on D. I think he'll continue to play well throughout the year, especially since their MLB is doing nothing right now.

Yea that kind of came out of nowhere. Somehow this wasn't made public until today? Very odd.

he doesn't take the field mon/tue.

if he misses a practice or is limited is when all the stuff comes out, per the nfl.

Vikings report that LB Erin Henderson once again did not participate in practice today because of his concussion.

This was posted on Twitter like 13 mins ago.

Rotoworld has this snipit:

Henderson has missed six consecutive practices since sustaining a concussion in Week 2.

The Vikings are wisely proceeding with caution after Henderson was unable to pass the NFL's concussion protocol on Friday.

Rotoworld says he's back in the starting lineup, but very likely not playing in nickel formations. Strikes me as a very similar situation as Colin McCarthy where he might be 1 more week away from being back to full production... but he may still explode this week, as well.

Brinkley is going to be the every down guy now w/ Henderson coming out in the nickel.

Edit:

Henderson played just 22 snaps while Brinkley played all 74.

I wouldnt be surprised to see the nickel situation work its way back towards erin as he gets healthier as i think erin can be a more of a impact than brinkley. Just off 2 week layover concussion and in limited snaps he had 2tfl and a forced fumble. He isnt terrible in coverage

They are just easing Henderson back in. He'll be the ED player again.

Leslie Frazier strongly suggested Monday that Jasper Brinkley will remain at middle linebacker in obvious passing situations, even though the guy who typically handles that job, Erin Henderson, has recovered from his concussion."The way Jasper is playing," Frazier said, "it's hard to take him off the field in nickel situations."

The opposite was said only a couple days ago. I don't see it. Henderson is better in coverage and played well before getting hurt.

Pretty much traded a late 1st for him since I'm in a good situation, this is not the news I wanted to hear

I had to drop him last week. Had too many other guys on byes and I decided to keep DJ Williams over Henderson and wait out the painful 9 game suspension. But, my league is keep 4 on O & D, and I liked the idea of having DJ next week too.

Anyway, I only watched a bit of Vikes/Redskins, but I saw Erin Henderson around the ball more than Brinkley despite getting less action. Tough pill for Henderson owners to swallow.

Does anybody know about his snap count compared to Brinkley? He seemed to be on the field pretty regularly last week. Arizona's matchup is a tasty one. I want to start Henderson.

Henderson played 36 snaps with Brinkley at 59. Truly pathetic. Not sure what the coaches see here.

A loss? :dunno:

It's possible this is some extreme reaction to Henderson's concussion. His symptoms lingered for quite awhile, so they may be unwilling to risk him full-time until they're confident it won't happen again.

I'm about to drop this guy. He and Ayers are taking up space on my roster. Can't keep "waiting to see what happens" with these guys.

Brinkley looked terrible in the nickel snaps yet again and missed 5 tackles on the day. When is Henderson going to get back in there full time?

From early in the game:

@1500ESPNJudd: Erin Henderson is remaining on the field in the nickel and Brinkley is coming off.

Just in time for owners to start him and reap the rewards. 3 tackles and a PD? lol...and the Vikings have a week 11 bye.Man, at least there's hope for those of us stubborn/foolish enough to hold on to him.
