ESPN FF site : Help please (1 Viewer)

For starters........how the #$@! do you log in to your league?? I got the invite from the commish and clicked it - then had the joy of having to create an "ESPN account" - then it told me I joined. Great. Course it didn't do anything crazy like next give me links to click on to enter my team name, check the rules, or even just give me a link to the friggin home page of our league.......no, none of the above (although there are 10 billion other things on the page which I could give a flip about, including all kinds of ways to enter dorky contests ad nauseum).

So on a guess I go here: http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/frontpage And again see no such links. Although it's interesting that there is a link for "football" on the menu bar near the top. uhh since the URL has "FFL" in it, you'd think you were already there.

Another case in point to repeat: GB MFL and ..|.. to ESPN. Now I know what the "S" really stands for.

ESPN leagues are the biggest rip off. I won my league last year and I still haven't got my T-Shirt. They send me emails saying "we will be sending it soon..."

Once they went to free leagues the went in the crapper for all their leagues

Antsports is the best online leagues place.

They changed how they do it this year. Are you sure you have the right link from the commish. Ours had to re-send. The subject should be something like "You have been invited to join"..

After I clicked and logged in, it told me I didn't have an eligible team for that league and took me to where I needed to sign up/pay.

You can only join a private league via the e-mail link, not the front page

I clicked on the email link and it work as I described above. It said I joined the league but I have no idea how to get back into it. For THIS we paid $80. wtf.

Okay, you are uin something different than me. League Manager, I guess? We each buy our teams individually. ($29.95 for the 1st, then they give a discount)

One of my long time leagues switched from Yahoo to ESPN this year. I got signed in no problems. Just signed in again a minute ago and was ok. But one big complaint I have with ESPN is that it is WAAAAAY too busy. To find the league I joined, I had to look to the right and down a ways, and it's completely buried in a bunch of other crap...

Im not sure about your problems this year but ESPN is the absolute worst product on the market. We used them for two years and left 2 weeks into the 2nd year. We switched to EA which was free and pretty good but we had more then one owner who could not access (his problem not EA).

ESPN will have probelms the entire year. Ditch them now. I am at CBS right now but anyplace is better then ESPN

Make sure you're logged in. If the top righand column. If it has the sign in boxes, you're not logged in. After that it should show teams in right-hand column. If it doesn't, ask commish to re-send, then log in before clicking on the link.
