**Falcons at Saints** (+3.5, 46.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

This spread being 3.5 is comical. I would have guessed at least 8. The Saints have lost 7 in a row. I almost feel bad for Derek Carr, who is throwing to practice squad caliber guys. The Falcons pass D is nothing special, but they'll probably look like they are against this group.

I think the Falcons do basically whatever they want on offense. I think Darnell Mooney is an especially good start this week, as I wouldn't be shocked if London (due to injury) and Bijan (due to blowout) see more limited work than normal, though both are great starts.

Falcons win 38-10.

You like free money do you?

Something smells and I can't put my finger on it.
Who is the new HC for the Saints?
Any chance they come out fired up?

The Saints promoted ST coach Darren Rizzi to interim HC.

Come out of the tunnel fired up? Absolutely. But that only lasts for so long. Center Eric McCoy is back practicing but won’t play today. Olave’s done for the season. Shaheed still out. The Saints just don’t have the horses right now.

Atlanta - 34
Saints - 24

The final score will look closer than the game actually plays out.

Their new coach is to let everyone (staff) do their thing. Loomis said ownership is in favor of this.
So that has to set up this dialogue- why'd ya do this? Ok keep trying OR I want you to do that instead.

I'm very interested in the manager angle of Rizzi's new job as interim HC.
I think the Saints are going to expose some staff members as "not a good fit" and just replace them this off-season. I think that's the setup here. Also same situation offers praise for those doing well. That's how I see this.

I see them in cap purgatory and no reason to change the HC next year but depending how he does, maybe the following year. That sets him up to make it work with far less $.

It's an unusual overtly obvious individualness to this. I don't expect any knee jerk reactions but we'll see.

Player angle- play for your coach, execute what he says- simple.

Nope Bijan was not hurt the Falcons are just idiots and take out their star player when you have the ball at the 1.

Allgeier STUFFED on 1st SUTFFED on 2nd and STUFFED on 3rd then the idiot coaches but in Bijan oh and look he scored.

MVS is going to be the hot waiver add, but this performance feels pretty flukey. Trying to see when Shaheed is due back.

yeah stats look like two bombs
I started him in a six WR league because we're scraping the barrel for players

Algeier IS the short yardage back. Everyone knows this yet complains when he does it. It's so odd

hows this game been? Not much here this week
Despite the score, the Saints haven’t really been in control. The Falcons have been moving the ball, but two drives ended in missed FG attempts (one shank, one tip-block).

The Saints had a nice what-the-heck? second quarter with the long throws to Valdez-Scantling … but it’s now time to sustain a drive and keep the Falcons offense off the field. Falcons are showing why right now.

Saints needed to answer there. Falcons look like they’re now in control of the outcome, with the Saints just looking on hoping for more Atlanta miscues to bail them out.

The Saints stopped taking games after week 2. Now they just sputter in the second half and hope the opponents do nothing. Ergo the 0-7 streak.

Welp — after seven straight losses, the Saints finally get their bail-out from their opponents.

Still look like a team drafting in the top five. But for today … congratulations Darren Rizzi.

(Saints need to get a first, don’t they? 🙁 )

Kamara drops a sure TD pass :wall:
I wonder if Kamara would have actually scored though he may have caught it and fell down knowing all they needed was a 1st but I sure would have liked to have found out.

At least he would scored another 5 or 6 pts with the long catch at the very least.

How long of a TD would that have been? My opponent has Kamara and we reward for long TDs. He is currently up by 6 but I have Kupp going.
