Fanduel/Draftkings Divisional Weekend! (1 Viewer)

Be careful with NBA...it's a much different sport. Late scratches, which are common in NBA, will absolutely kill an NBA lineup and ruin your night; thus, you MUST be by your computer at gametime to make last-minute adjustments to value players, etc.

The next 2-4 weeks of NBA will be easier than post-February...after that, it's a shark-infested pool. Just be aware.

Believe all of this. If you cannot access you roster all the way up until tip, do not play NBA that night. Late scratches are common, even for players that are not listed with any injury or issue. You are basically giving money away in NBA if you start someone that does not play. The second part is also good advice. Last season I did pretty well during the NFL season and for the first week or two after. Then, once the casual player who had some NFL money left over leaves it gets much tougher. Basically if you cannot make money the next couple of weeks it will only get worse after that.

That said, the same basic principles apply as NFL. It is beatable, with the right research and a little luck.

Man I am going to missed the NFL. Another 4 figure profit week, led by a top 150 finish in the FD Sat Million. Winning line up was mine except swap out Wilson/Baldwin for Brady/Kearse. I hope I do not forget everything I have learned by September. I also hope I do not blow all of my NFL profit on NBA. :)
Nicely done. If you don't mind me asking what kind of a bankroll does one need to deliver these types of returns? I'm assuming $5-10k range?
Not at all. Started the year with $300 on Fandual (left over from NBA last season), Added $100 to Draft Kings and $100 to Fantasy Draft during the season. I took off over $500 already so the remaining is pure profit. I focused on GPPs this year had a fair amount of luck. But it is doable with a less than 4 figure bankroll.

Where should I send the check next September?

If people strictly used the recommended FBGs lineups in cash games, did they finish the season up or down?

I read their work but barely used their recommendations. As I lost this year, I'm thinking next year I may stay on their script more for cash games.

Strangely, if you split cash and gpp out, I was a winner in gpp games overall. But I got crushed in cash games, especially towards the end of the season. Ended up down a lot overall.
Last season I was almost strictly cash games and made a little money. This season I only played cash games if I really thought I had a top line up. I did very well percentage wise on cash games this year but did not make much money because many weeks I did not play cash games at all.

The FBGs ownership percentage based line ups seemed to do very well in cash games. Chalk pays in cash games. I did not use them so did not track success, but when I noticed they were strong line ups.

Just set my lineups this week and man its a toss up. I withdrew all I had in the besides 90 just incase it gets shut down. Reseach Party Poker for those that didn't get caught up in that BS.

GL this week. We all know we will need it.

I'd like to see this....On The Daily (projected) vs On The Daily (actual). Who was the best? Were these lineups actually putting up cashable scores?
Yup.
What killed me was when I took fbg/Dodds suggested lineups and changed out the1-2 guys I thought had no chance of paying off. Inevitably the guys I took out blew up and the guys I put in forgot how to play football.
