Fathers Day - Maybe Your Move? (1 Viewer)

sorry snog ...sounds like he may be headed towards Alzheimers or something similar.
Thanks .

As bad as it sounds, I wish it was something like that.. but it isn't.. as he gets older he gets more and more selfish..

Everything is about him, and if you don't bow down to the king and do things for him, he then does all he can to make you out to be in the wrong.

Thank God I have have a wife who treats me Great, and a daughter who lets me know any chance she has that I am loved and am nothing like my Dad..

So, as someone earlier posted . Thanks Dad for teaching me how NOT to be a Dad.

meh, you may want give him some  slack ...that's how it started for my wife's grandmother.

No kids. Dogs got me a 32oz local brew IPA that I'm enjoying now. Have a long honey to do list but stayed out too late at the casinos last night. Just chilling, laying out on the patio. Wife likes to lay out nude. BBQ some short ribs soon.
The ol' just seeing if you're paying attention move, well played.

This is my second Father's Day without my dad - he passed away December 21, 2017. Yesterday would have been his 71st birthday, so it's a very emotional weekend here.
My Dad passed away three days before yours.  This is the second Father's Day I don't make the phone call to him.  I use to find that call, sometimes at least, an obligation as opposed to a pleasure, if I was busy or at the time thought I was.  Now I miss it.

Well yesterday was the first Father's Day alone.  All the kids have moved away.  All of the them called me, but it's still not the same.  Dang they get old in a hurry.
