Favre certain that Moss will be a Packer in '07 (1 Viewer)

What would Moss in GB do to Driver's value? Would he still be top 20? I think he would. Maybe top 25 to be conservative but he should still have solid vlaue at 20-25. As for Favre, it should be a great year. Maybe 4000 yds and 30-34 TD's?
Did you see what Driver did when Walker had his best year as a pro?84...1208...9TDsWalker had89...1382...12TDsI think Moss would affect Jennings much more.

I debated if I should post this because I still believe even if the Packers and Moss have a deal in place this just means that if a deal gets done it gets done at draft time. However even if they have a deal with Moss that does not mean the Raiders and AL Davis do the deal with the Packers especially if another team has a better offer amd I don't feel the Packers are going to give much. BTW it was on his way out of town.

For what is worth Randy Moss was in Green Bay for 4 hours yesterday to meet with the Packers. My friend who works at the airport checked him in.
Could you please email this tidbit to PFT?I'm wondering if they'd refer to you as a "source with knowledge of the situation", or as a "source with knowledge of the negotiations".

I can see 4000, but 25-29 TD's. I can't see a 30 TD season for him again.
With no real options at RB right now, someone is gonna have to score the TDs. My guess is GB will once again live and die by Favre's arm. GB passed the ball 630 times last year (league high). If Moss is in that mix I could easily see 30+ TDs.
That's exactly what I was thinking. No real RB to lean on. Favre's last year (possibly) and adding Moss lends to an environment of pass, pass and pass some more.

PFT did document Wayne Huizenga's movements during the Dolphin's coaching search by tracking his private plane.

That's a good point.

Not with a zone blocking offensive line. They are to small. Lots of short passes and run run run. Morency will be primary and they will take a back on the first day to share the load

IS MOSS THE REAL WILD CARD?The real trade possibility to watch over the next few days involves a player who currently is on the Raiders' roster.

There is increasing chatter from our readers regarding Internet message board talk about Oakland receiver Randy Moss being sent to the Packers on draft day. As one of the Wild West, uncorroborated computer rumors goes, Moss was in Green Bay for several hours this week -- as testified to by someone's brother's cousin's friend's aunt's daughter's accountant's paper boy. ;)

We're working right now on whether or not there might be anything to this. If a deal goes down, then it makes the Raiders more likely to take receiver Calvin Johnson with the No. 1 overall pick.

But it doesn't mean that they will. Just as the Raiders could proceed with both JaMarcus Russell and Daunte Culpepper at quarterback, they also could start the Lane Kiffin era without Moss or Johnson at wideout.

Milwaukee radio is saying the Packers are exclusively dealing with the Raiders for Moss.Stay tuned.
Why would Green Bay even want Moss? One of the few positions they are solid at is wr.Why not draft a young wr who is not a head case?
Solid? Driver and Jennings and....?????
WEEI in Boston is saying that the Patriots are still in the mix for Moss. Belichick was asked about Moss in a press conference shortly after the Patriots pick. He was very coy about the subject and refused to answer the question.I for one hope the Patriots don't get Moss. He is a mental case and clearly not Patriots material.Good luck to GB or anybody else who picks him up.
