TJax is not a bad QB despite the bad reputation on this board. I think the Vikings may be better of with him than the 2010 version of Favre.
I agree. The falloff for Favre has been dramatic this season. Sad, but kinda reminds me of Marvin Harrison at the end..Poof! greatness was gone in a flash.I think we are getting to the point to where you have to wonder if he is hurting the team more than helping it. I mean, he's Brett favre and you just can't deny that he could do anything in one game..in one moment, but he's obviously slowed, he's beat up, he himself doesn't seem to have a lot of fire for the game right now, he's got all these allegations out there that just HAVE to be distracting the team in some way. Because it IS Favre, the team will have to have an additional circus this week surrounding them. Not only do they have to talk about the defeat, their record, etc, they also have to be asked a million times if Favre will play...will the streak be broken? If this were ANY other QB in the league that we heard had two fractures in their foot and had a ligament pulling a bone off another bone (doesn't that just sound like something that could cause
blood loss to your bone and kill it?), I'm pretty sure we would just assume he's out. But you know it won't be like this with Favre. It just seems like it is time to close the tent on this circus and re-stabilize the Vikes.
