ESPN's Trent Dilfer just said he texted favre and he wants to play for his teamates.

he's a complete liar. he's doing it for himself and nobody else. this guy is a twisted little fame whore.

Some people are going to kill Favre no matter what he does. If he he went on IR he would have been quitting on the team. They basically begged him to play this year and I think he has earned the right to give it a go if he thinks he can play. I hope he can give it a go and one last good game.
