check the weather on this game. I have Farve and Driver and I think I am going to bench Farve for Leinart this week. I read a thread on here that said it was going to be raining and over 20 mph winds.

Really? That does change everything, and if that was the case Favre should be benched in all leagues

Favre lovers????? They still exist??? If he survives the first half of an all out Nolan/ Singletary blitz package in terrible rain and wind he will wish he was back on his "frozen tundra". Driver is a decent play....but Favre should rank below the QB he's opposing. Alex Smith will have the better fantasy #'s.

The rain looks like it's already letting up OR passing thru the area. Is more on the way? I trust my own eyes before I trust a weather-man or woman.

The rain has been on and off all day, most of the really nasty stuff has been up north. The winds have actually been pretty meh all day except for about an hour when they really picked up. Supposedly its going to be terrible tomorrow... but they said the same thing today and it was sunny for about half the day.

I don't know how it will be tomorrow, but the rain has passed. Check out the doppler radar. The rain is moving inland and it's well past SF already.

It's supposed to rain some, but winds should be down to around 10 mph and lessening during the game. I don't think passing will be a problem.

Actually that is really the exact wrong thing to do to Favre. He's never been one to succumb to the blitz. It's like playing Russian roullette with him. He's tough, if anything he's one tough SOB. So you are not going to get into his helmet with the blitz. Now dropping multiple players from different spots and disguising coverage is still the best bet against Brett. Also Favre has hands the size of frying pans, inclement weather hasn't ever been much of a factor for him.Favre lovers????? They still exist??? I'm goin' the other way. Niners D can actually be very tough at home on occassion. I think they are today, and will give Favre fits.

Aviation...previous forecast...light rain currently over sts with
ceilings lowering. Sfo/sjc and Oak will have wet runways and
southeast winds to start the day. However the front is moving faster
than anticipated. Looking at buoy and model data expect winds to
shift southwest by late morning with showers rapidly decreasing.
Upshot is period of southeast winds and steady rain will occur early
this morning with improving conditions through the day.
