FBG Board Consensus 2007 Mock NFL Draft (1 Viewer)

I thought it might be fun to see the thoughts and picks of the board after the season was over. I realize that there are still the bowl games, all star games, combine, workouts and some players haven't declared yet, etc.; but this should go quick so we can always do another one in a month or so. I'll post a new team once to twice a day depending on how close it is; with the player previously selected being off the board. If it is close, we'll have a run-off. Any thoughts you'd like to add as we do this would be great.

1.1 - Oakland Raiders - Brady Quinn QB, Notre Dame

1.2 - Detroit Lions - Joe Thomas OT, Wisconsin

1.3 - Cleveland Browns - Adrian Peterson RB, Oklahoma

1.4 - Tampa Bay Bucs - Calvin Johnson WR, Georgia Tech

1.5 - Arizona Cardinals -

1.6 - Washington Redskins -

I know absolutely nothing about any of the players on this list but voted for Levi Brown simply because he has an 'OT' after his name and if the Cardinals don't do something about their offensive line they will be in danger of wasting the careers of Leinert, Boldin, and Fitzgerald.

Ditt-line is such a need that maybe they should move to get Joe Thomas if there is that much of a difference between Joe and Levi.It's so important at this point it's even worth reaching at the #5 spot to make sure they improve the line.

Cant imagine who the 24 people are that think Levi Brown is worth a top 5 pick, but that would make the reach last year for Whitner look like a value pick.

Adams is the BPA and fills a big need, as Bert Berry is hitting his early 30s and hasnt played a full season in 3 years, and the other DE position is filled with subpar talent.

I agree. I voted for Branch here. I think that Arizona will trade up in this draft to get Thomas. He is the perfect fit for them. It may cost them a 1st next year, but it would be worth it IMO...I'm going to move on to pick 6, but I don't think the Cardinals would reach like this here...
